Paul Stentaford
- Producer
Paul is a Brtish independent producer who was born in Exeter, in the English county of Devon. At a young age, he and his family moved to London where he spent his formative years. The first area of London he moved to was Brixton before moving to Hanwell and finally Northolt, where he spent the rest of his childhood and a good deal of his early adult life. It was while living in London that he got his first real taste for show-business when in 1994 at the age of nineteen he joined the semi-professional dramatic theatre group, 'Charming Underclothes' where he would regularly appear in stage performances of shows inspired by 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Place, near Lecicester Square in central London. During his time with the company which also toured extensively around the UK, he turned his hand to help setting up the stage props and was one of the dancers before landing the role of the wheelchair bound scientist and ufologist Dr. Everett V Scott. His impressive showmanship then landed him the second lead, Brad Majors. This was the role he played for most of his time with the company. Before leaving 'Charming Underclothes' in 1998, for a few performances he played the lead role, Dr. Frank-N-Furter. It was during this time that he realized that show-business was in his blood having enjoyed appearing on BBC radio Kent and TV's 'The Big Breakfast' whilst performing with the group.
Paul is now enjoying living in Somerset where he occasionally writes and is trying to get a novel published. Having been a lifelong movie fan, in his spare time he participates with and produces independent film projects. He has a passion for film and he is interested in all the disciplines which revolve around the film-making process. Paul knows that the best has yet to come for him as he is a powerhouse of creativity.
