Khloé Kardashian is not letting hunger in between meals get the best of her.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star says it’s not always easy to choose the perfect snack, but she’s developed an arsenal of her go-to picks when hunger strikes.
“God knows I’ve really changed the way I eat on a daily basis and my entire approach to healthy living but snacks are consistently tricky,” Kardashian wrote on her website. “Whether I’m traveling or just have a busy day on the go, I’ve learned that keeping healthy snacks in my purse, travel...

Hold on to your grande no-foam half-caf latte: Starbucks will launch two new menu items in January, and Health got a sneak peek.
If you’ve been ordering the coffee chain’s egg sandwiches and tossing the bread, you’re not alone. Beginning January 10, you’ll be able to order Sous Vide Egg Bites—which remind us of Health‘s crustless Frittata Muffins—in two flavors: Egg White with Monterey Jack & Roasted Red Pepper and Bacon & Gruyere. (Sous vide, pronounced “soo veed,” is a trendy cooking technique in which vacuum-sealed foods...

The man with the booming voice confirmed today that producers had managed to persuade him to return to the show, despite his previous announcement that he'd decided to quit.
And Dickson - famous for getting his mouth around names like Rachel Adedeji - explained that he's excited about shouting out the names of this year's acts.
"While I was looking forward to getting my weekends back I have been so touched by the comments of thousands of fans of the show who were disappointed at my departure, that I am now delighted to say I'm back at The X Factor microphone and really looking forward to tackling the names of this season's finalists - especially Bupsi!" The X Factor is well and truly under way, and we've been keeping an eye on everything that's been going on...
When is The X Factor on TV?
The show kicked off on August 29 - and in fact, in an attempt to avoid any clashes with Strictly Come Dancing, ITV bosses have unveiled the full schedule right from the off, so we know everything that's coming. You can get a proper look at it here, but auditions continued until Saturday, September 19 with Boot Camp kicking off on September 20. That was the first of five boot camp shows - two set in a country house, and then three episodes of the dreaded Six Chair Challenge. They were all on Sundays, to avoid the Rugby World Cup, but then Judges' Houses aired on October 24 and October 25... and the first big live show will kick off on October 31. And the grand final? It's set for Sunday,...

As Peter Dickson himself might have boomed: arrrrre yooouuu rrrrready? Because as The X Factor kicked off its first live shows this weekend, there was a surprise in store: a new voiceover man.
Peter 'Rachel Adedeji' Dickson announced a couple of months ago that he'd decided to quit the show and take his booming voice with him, and so this weekend we heard a very slight snatch of a new voiceover introducing the show. But who's the man behind that American twang?
1. His name is Redd Pepper - and he honed his craft by being a Tube driver
Here are the basics. Unsurprisingly, Redd Pepper is not his real name: the 54-year-old was born Richardson Green in Barbados. He moved to London when he was young and grew up to be a Tube driver, where he'd make silly announcements on the tannoy.

Previously on Once Upon A Time, Emma and Regina did magic together, Red all but proposed to Snow White, Ruby almost kissed Belle but chained her up instead, and Mulan shoved her hand in Aurora's chest to replace the heart she won back for her. Everything was gay and nothing hurt (until they didn't invite Regina to dinner).
We open with the not-so-welcome reminder that Cora and Captain Eyeliner have docked in Storybrooke, their intentions less than pure. Hook wants to storm in, guns (swords?) blazing, but Cora gives the kind of speech a grandmother would give and tells him to cool his jets. A kindly fisherman comes and offers to open his tackle shop early for them, but Cora turns him into a fish. Poor soul never stood a chance.
The next day, somewhere else in Storybrooke, Henry and Emma...

One of the perks of being a “blogger” is that every once in a while you get free stuff. We haven’t been inspired to talk about some of the water bottles or pads of paper we’ve received (although we have to admit we love a good pen).
But we recently received a copy of Jillian Michaels' new tome The Master Your Metabolism Cookbook. Another admission, we’re not the healthiest eaters. We try to put a veggie in our pasta now and then. We like a slice of tomato on our tuna sandwich.
So we kind of brushed aside the recipes from the toughest trainer on The Biggest Loser. Then we noticed there were items like Blueberry Banana Muffins (page 62) and Fudge Brownies (page 254). She had our attention. The treats we’ve made our delicious and almost entirely guilt free – if Jillian says we can eat something,...

Eva Mendes can't live without spice. "The Spirit" actress enjoys a temperature-raising taste sensation and would take crushed red pepper and her boyfriend with her if she was ever stranded on a desert island.
She said: "My five desert island staples would have to be my boyfriend George Augusto, our dog Hugo, an iPod, the Sunday New York Times newspaper and crushed red pepper."
The 43-year-old actress has also revealed she wouldn't change a thing about her physical appearance.
She told Britain's The Times newspaper: "I love and accept my body completely. I know that is not an interesting answer, but I really wouldn't change anything. I've worked too hard on accepting it all!"...
