With a line-up that already packs a punch, Sundance will also include a new section simply called “Special Events” which is described as “one-of-a-kind moments highlighting new independent works that add to the unique Festival experience. An evolving section, this year includes episodic work, short films and live performance.” In what promises to be a I can’t believe I’m watching what I’m watching type event, the one item that has caught our attention is Andrew Jarecki delving back into a subject heading he is familiar with in All Good Things moving forward into the HBO series, The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (six-part documentary). Here is the press release:

In a grand collaboration of abbreviations, frat-boy favorite rock band O.A.R. (Of a Revolution) has teamed up with rapper/singer B.o.B. (Bobby Ray Simmons) to create a rock-hip hop hybrid inspiring tune for athletes ahead of the London Olympics.
The two performed their song “Champions,” which has been released on behalf of Duracell’s “Rely on the Copper to Go for the Gold” Olympic-centric branding campaign, on "The Tonight Show" this week. HuffPost Entertainment chatted with Marc Roberge (O.A.R.'s lead singer) and B.o.B. on Jay’s set (where they got a little lost) about collaborating, being inspired by the athletes, holding gold medals and whether or not they actually get to go to London.
What inspired “Champions”?

O.A.R. co-founder Marc Roberge is going back to the future for the group’s new album. “We’re revisiting the drive that got us here in the first place,” Roberge tells Hitfix. “The vibe that you get when you go for it on your first record: pure excitement.” Their running mate is producer Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Faith No More), who helmed O.A.R.’s 2008 album, “All Sides.” That set spawned the band’s biggest hit, “Shattered (Turn the Car Around),” which reached No. 2. In addition to capturing that initial thrill that come with making a first album, the band is putting a little...

While a rock star's life on the road may seem glamorous, O.A.R. front man Marc Roberge jokes just try finding a little space to call your own. "I've sat on every shitty back alley of every shitty club in America, and some of the good ones too, just looking for a little piece and quiet," he laughs.Otherwise, life is good for the Maryland-based rock band, very good, in fact. Twelve years after the release of its first album, the group continues to reach new success levels: current single "Shattered (Turn the Car Around)" is the biggest radio hit of its career.With...
