“I’m feeling great. I wouldn’t have come back unless all of the doctors and everybody gave me the go-ahead,” said Feehily.
The 43-year-old singer missed out on a number of Westlife’s concerts last year due to health issues and recovering from surgery.
“I just have to take it easy when I’m not on stage and stuff like that because I’m still finding my feet a little bit,” he continued. “As I said, I wouldn’t have came back unless I felt completely ready.

Mark Feehily has recalled his experience while suffering from pneumonia for a month last year.
The Westlife singer was forced to pull out of the band’s live dates on their Wild Dreams tour in November due to the illness.
Westlife is usually made up of Feehilly, Brian McFadden, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan.
Now, Feehily has opened up about his emotions while missing out on the gigs, saying he is “very glad” that the illness is behind him.
"It was almost like being back in lockdown because, for the first couple of weeks, I was just in bed all the time,” the 42-year-old singer explained.
"It was an almost out-of-body experience watching the Westlife tour go ahead while I lay in bed.
"It was the first time any of us had missed a stint of gigs in 25 years, and I’m very glad it’s behind me.

Soccer Aid for Unicef 2019, broadcast live and exclusively on ITV and Stv this week, has raised a record-breaking £6,774,764 so far – over £1m more than last year’s on the night total – for Unicef’s vital work keeping children around the world happy, healthy and safe to play.
This amount was raised thanks to the generous support of the UK public, ITV and Stv viewers, and the UK government who have matched all donations so far, doubling the difference made to children’s lives. This figure has smashed all previous records for money raised on the night.
The eagerly anticipated match took place in London for the first time in over a decade, packing out Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge Stadium with a whopping 39,836 in attendance. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, leading to a nail-biting penalty shoot-out for the second year in a row, with the Soccer Aid World XI...

1. Don't expect Peter Andre to be whipping his shirt off immediately.
"I reckon I'm going to last ages. I do. I mean, the girls look awesome – all of the girls look awesome. But the guys, you've got a professional runner, you've got a boxer… Iwan's going to be first. He looks good, you know."
2. Jamelia's daughters don't even recognise her anymore.
"You become obsessed with it. Literally, this weekend I was washing up and dancing. My daughters were like, 'Mummy, what are you doing?' and I was like, 'I'm not your mummy anymore.

Speaking on Rte 2fm's The Nicky Byrne Show with Jenny Greene, Walsh explained that he knew it was time for him to quit the panel.

In a possible swipe at last series' judges, Walsh added that his favourite series was with Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger.

James Corden has joked that he would like to take over from Gary Barlow on The X Factor.
The One Chance actor - who is good friends with the Take That singer - quipped that he is qualified to judge music acts due to his time in a boyband as a youngster.
However, he told Alan Carr on Chatty Man that he would prefer it if the judges took their roles more seriously.
He told Carr: "We should judge it! I love the show but I wish they would stop messing around with it.
"I am not a fan of this Flash Vote bulls**t. I love deadlock. When the judges don't vote and go, 'I abstain', I'm like, 'Shut up, you're paid millions to judge'."
He also revealed that his boyband were named Full Frontal, before changing their name to Insatiable.
He added: "I was Barlow, the fat one who wrote the songs.

Louis Walsh has revealed his song choice for his three acts as they take on this week's '80s theme.

If you've got a little bit of a sadistic side (and let's be honest, if you watch X Factor every week, then you must) the Judges' Houses round is the apex of the series.
Everyone cries. Half the contestants get their dreams shredded. Sinitta turns up in a bikini. It makes last week's musical chairs twist look like Dora the Explorer.
At this stage the acts are one step away from the Live Shows and the chance to be the next Leona, One Direction, James Arthur or Rikki Loney (ahem). At the same time they're also one step away from rejection, humiliation and having to return to performing back down at the Dog and Duck for a packet of Scampi Fries and half a shandy.
Sharon Osbourne and her Overs category were up first and they were all joined in sunny Los Angeles by a chirpy Robbie Williams.
"I need to have the winner.

Downloading music for free is as easy as a quick Google search, a few pop ups and the inevitable risk of getting a virus. Much easier, some might say, than setting up an iTunes or Beatport account, entering your bank details and watching your hard earned pennies transform into four minutes of noise. Those who defend illegal downloading will say stuff like “one person doesn’t make a difference” or “I’m only taking away a quid from them, what’s the harm?” Well to those people I say this, how would you like it if out of your salary every month a small levy was charged because your customer decided to not pay every now and again? Not a lot? I thought so.
The fact of the matter is, Illegal downloading is soul destroying for artists, it takes away the incentive to work hard on music if it’s...
