Fourteen years after Armageddon, Michael Bay has another apocalyptic project in the works — this time for television. TNT has ordered a pilot for drama series The Last Ship and Bay is set to produce.
After a couple decades of success on the big screen, Bay is now turning his attention to TV. He and his company Platinum Dunes also got a straight-to-series order from Starz in May for another sea-set project: a Treasure Island prequel titled Black Sails.
