Matt Crabtree

Growing up in the small town of McLeansville, NC, Matt Crabtree was a shy, quiet, stuttering child who unexpectedly found an outlet in entertaining others by doing impressions. While Matt got his BS in Biology and continued his studies at the Medical College of Virginia, his love of the spotlight didn't go away.

A chance audition convinced Matt to leave school behind to perform in the National Tour of She Loves Me, and subsequently headed off to tour Europe in West Side Story. After touring, Matt made a stop in Chicago to train with the famed School at Steppenwolf before heading off to spend time in Los Angeles and then returning to the east coast to create roles in many plays.

When not on stage he can be seen performing on various TV shows such as THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL (AMAZON), BRASS TACTICS (APPLE+), HARLEM (AMAZON), THE BLACKLIST (NBC), THE LOUDEST VOICE (SHO), N.C.I.S. (CBS), BONES (FOX), and a side-splitting, memorable recur on NBC's WILL & GRACE.

Matt currently lives in NYC where - much like his chance audition - he continues to change it up.
