throughout the western region of the United States, gathering
historical facts and legends.
She wrote all of the scripts for the first five years of "Death Valley
Days" on television; those stories were adaptations of her earlier
scripts for the radio series.
In 1961, her script for the "The Great Lounsberry Scoop" episode of
Death Valley Days won a Western Heritage Award for Best Factual
Television Program.
