The use of drones not only in warfare but for spying, reporting new and even delivering packages is a controversial subject and one that is open for debate. The questionable side of the subject is the dehumanising nature of being able to control a machine that could be anywhere in the world to do tasks that could lead to the death of innocent people. This is the subject that Drones looks at, just what is right?
Drones is the story of two soldiers, Sue Lawson (Eloise Mumford) the daughter of a general and now working as a drone controller along with her co-pilot Matt O’Leary (Jack Bowles). As their drone patrols the home of a known terrorist in Afghanistan they...

Though a remake of the iconic film and TV series "Fame" already hit theaters in 2009 and the small screen in 2003, a new version of the old idea might be making its way to The CW in the near future.
The CW is developing an hour-long drama from Debbie Allen set at a Los Angeles performing arts school, Variety reports.
The as-yet-untitled project just landed a script deal at the network. Allen -- best known for her role in the 1980 film and the following '80s TV series -- will executive produce with Matt Witten ("House") and former William Morris TV chief Sam Haskell.
Including starring in the original film and series, Allen served as an Ep on the 2003 rebooted TV series, and owns a notable dance studio in La, so she is definitely the right person for the job. But just to clarify, this isn't another reboot of "Fame" despite having an almost identical setting.

Debbie Allen (and producing partner Sam Haskell) has sold a script for an untitled drama to the CW. Described as a Fame-like music-themed series (Allen starred in Fame), the new project will center on an La-based performing arts school. Matt Witten (House, Jag, Supernatural) has been brought on to write the script and executive produce alongside Debbie Allen and Haskell. The project marks the latest in the push to bring Fame back to TV. Nearly a year ago to the date, American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe teamed with MGM Television to reimagine Famefor the small screen with a more contemporary take on the 1980 MGM film and...
