'In Stereo' movie with Micah Hauptman and Beau Garrett. 'In Stereo' movie review: Witty, sarcastic romantic comedy In Stereo is a particular kind of romantic comedy – the kind full of characters that aren't remotely romantic, that tend more toward wit and sarcasm rather than light or camp comedy (unless it involves someone getting beaten up), and in which things may very well turn out badly for the protagonists, whom we may or may not be inclined to root for or even like. This is my kind of romantic comedy; a little mean and very funny if you prefer wit and sarcasm to fart jokes – as witty and sarcastic people always do. By definition, something that is in stereo comes at you from at least two directions at once – the same yet different – together creating something that is fuller and truer than either of the elements alone. In Stereo, the film,...

If you are like me, you have been waiting for some kind of screening review for George Miller's long-awaited Mad Max: Fury Road. It looks like our time has come.
Apparently, there was a screening at Warner Bros. and the people who saw it seem to like what they've seen. What we have here are several fan reactions collected from around the web via /Film. Like I said, these are purely fan reactions, and are by no means the thoughts or opinions of GeekTyrant. Here you go:
Randy from Action Figure Times:
This Is the kind of Mad Max II/The Road Warrior on steroids, go-big-or-go-home, bug-nuts crazy, toss-you-in-the-deep-end mythology and put-it-all-out-there-in-case-we-never-make-another-one Mad Max Fury Road. [...]
This movie feels like thirty years of Miller holding in passion for a world that he built so long ago, exploding on the screen. You, remember the third act of The Road Warrior,...

Kevin Craig West, Bottle Service star and producer
Veteren S&A readers will know that I’ve not been around these parts as much as I used to be. In year one, I was one of the site’s three main contributors, (alongside Messrs T & S ) but, while I jumped at the chance to write for S&A when Tambay first invited me back in 2009, where writing is concerned, my main passion, and the reason I’m involved in S&A at all, is writing for the screen. So with my own projects still hustling to get noticed, when actor, director and web series creator/producer Kevin Craig West offered me an opportunity to help scratch my itch by becoming the head writer/script editor of his new baby, I took it with all fingers waiting to get at it!
Bottle Service, the name of the forthcoming web series, is...

From my inbox from Kevin Craig West a fellow New York-based filmmaker/actor who I’ve worked with before.
Hello Friends – Hope this finds you doing wonderfully. I am working with a feature film titled Indelible that is 70% complete. To raise additional funds to complete filming we are planning a series of “House Parties” throughout the city [New York]. I am hopeful that you would be interested in hosting one such party. For additional info about the film, visit the following links: www.imdb.com/title/tt1064959/; www.indeliblefilm.com/.
Feel free to forward this info to other arts friendly folk. Thanks for your attention to this. Peace, blessings and happy holidays.
