- Uncle of Jack Warner Jr., and great-grandfather of actor Cole Hauser. Cole's maternal grandmother, Betty Warner, was Harry's daughter, with his wife, Rea Levinson. Harry's son-in-law, and Cole's maternal grandfather, was producer Milton Sperling.

- As an example of what little regard Warner Bros. management had for its cartoon division, Chuck Jones recalled a meeting he had with the three Warner brothers about the division. One of them said, "I don't even know where our [cartoon] studio is." Harry replied, "All I know about it is that we make Mickey Mouse". Mickey Mouse was actually made by Walt Disney.
