Donald Fagen, front man and co-founder of Steely Dan, has been charged with harassment and misdemeanor assault, according to reports. The 67-year-old musician was arrested Monday night at his Upper East Side home after he allegedly shoved his wife, Libby Titus, 68, into one of their marble window frames. "[Titus] and Fagen were involved in a verbal dispute, at which point he grabbed her by the arm and pushed her," a spokesperson told Rolling Stone. "She fell, bruising her arm." Because of the incident, Fagen received the two previously mentioned charges at a Tuesday arraignment. He was also released without bail, and his wife reportedly received an order of protection against him. It's unclear if Titus, also a notable musician, sought any medical attention for her injuries, but she told the Post she won't follow through with pressing charges because she and Fagen are "friends." They've been married since 1993; Fagen has yet to comment.

Levon Helm, who passed away on April 19, always had a knack for standing apart from the crowd.
As a member of The Band, one of the most respected rock and roll groups of all time, this proud native son of Arkansas was the lone American along with the four other musicians who hailed from Canada.
In the annals rock and roll, Helm was a rarity, a drummer who could keep time while singing lead vocals. He was...

Facebook is again the source of the latest update on the health of The Band's Levon Helm, who is in the final stages of a battle with throat cancer. This time, the news comes courtesy Helm's Band-mate Robbie Robertson (at right), who describes a weekend visit to Helm in a new Facebook post.
"Last week I was shocked and so saddened to hear that my old band mate, Levon, was in the final stages of his battle with cancer," Robertson writes. "It hit me really hard because I thought he had beaten throat cancer and had no idea that he was this ill. I spoke with his family and made arrangements to go and see him."
He continues:
"On Sunday I went to New York and visited him in the hospital. I sat with Levon for a good while, and thought of the incredible and beautiful times we had together.
