    • Wayman Tisdale was born on June 9, 1964 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. He was an actor, known for Eddie (1996), Neon Nights (2014) and PrAir Time Summer 2005 (2005). He was married to Regina Tisdale. He died on May 15, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

Trivia

  • Son of Rev. Louis Tisdale.
  • Was a self taught jazz musician who recorded eight of his own albums and played bass guitar with the Fifth Quartet.
  • Forward for Indiana Pacers (1985-1989), Sacramento Kings (1989-1994) and Phoenix Suns (1994-1997).
  • In August 2008, had part of his right leg amputated due to bone cancer. The prosthetic leg that he wore was crimson, a school color of the University of Oklahoma.
  • His father, Louis Tisdale, was a well-known pastor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Osage Expressway in Tulsa was named L. L. Tisdale Parkway in his honor after he died in 1997. Older brother Weldon took over as pastor of the church.
