The official Twitter for the 20th anniversary project for Toei Animation's long-running Precure anime franchise announced today that a sequel novel to its 10th installment, Dokidoki! Precure , is set to publish from Kodansha's Kodansha Character Bunko imprint in 2024. Following the ninth installment Smile Precure! , Dokidoki! Precure aired in Japan for 49 episodes from February 2013 to January 2014. Details are unknown at this time, but the post introduces it "a completely new novel about what happens after the TV series." Ryota Yamaguchi, who was in charge of series composition for the original TV series, serves as the writer, and original character designer Akira Takahashi provides illustrations. Chennai, Aug 12 (Ians) Asian Games gold medallist Japan scored twice in the final quarter to quell a superb fightback by the Republic of Korea 5-3 and bagged the bronze medal in the Asian Champions Trophy at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium here on Saturday.
Japan, who had lost to hosts India in the semifinals on Thursday, came out with guns blazing, scoring twice through Ryoma Ooka (3rd min) and Ryosei Kata (9th min-pc) within the first 10 minutes in the playoff for the third-fourth place.
However, Korea scored through veteran Jang Jonghyun (15th min-pc) and Park Cheoleon (26th min). Japan dominated the second quarter and launched some superb attacks to earn four penalty corners but failed to make the most of the chances.
But they could not be denied for long and just before the end of the first half, Japan grabbed the lead once again as Kentaro Fukuda scored a field goal.

Chennai, July 31 (Ians) Defending champions Korea and last editions runners up, Japan men’s hockey teams arrived here for the Asian Champions Trophy, scheduled to be held from August 3 to 12 at the iconic Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium.
Both teams were afforded a warm welcome at the Chennai International Airport upon their arrival late on Sunday night.
Korea is set to face formidable opponents including Malaysia, Pakistan, China, Japan, and hosts India. They will lock horns with Japan in the tournament opener on August 3.
Talking about the tournament, Korean head coach Seok Kyo Shin said: “This tournament is crucial for us as it will serve as the preparatory event for the upcoming Asian Games, through which we are targeting a berth in the Paris Olympics next year. We are aiming to give our best in the Asian Champions Trophy.”

Japan arrived in Odisha on Monday and received a warm reception at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
Placed in Pool B with Belgium, Korea and Germany, head coach Akira Takahashi’s side will begin their Fih Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela campaign with a match against the German side on January 14.
