Bryan Singer isn’t ruling out working with Kevin Spacey again, despite the claims of sexual harassment and assault that have been levied against the actor.

The X-Men director, 52, who has denied claims of his own alleged sexual misconduct, told TMZ he’d be open to working with the former House of Cards star, 58, but added, “It depends on the project, I guess.”

Singer directed Spacey in The Usual Suspects, for which Spacey was nominated for a supporting actor Academy Award in 1996. The director told the outlet he “helped launch career” and the actor remains “an acquaintance of mine.”

Bryan Singer at an event for Walkyrie (2008)
In his first interview since filing a December 7 sexual assault lawsuit against former “Bohemian Rhapsody” director Bryan Singer, Cesar Sanchez-Guzman said he’s content with his decision to finally speak out 14 years after the alleged encounter left him traumatized. “A weight has been taken off my back,” the 31-year-old Washington resident told The Wrap. “I definitely feel a sense of empowerment as well. I’m angry at the situation, I’m angry at Bryan and I feel like this is definitely going to help me to get a lot better.”

Bryan Singer Responds to Rape Allegations and Queen Biopic Firing
Bryan Singer at an event for Walkyrie (2008)
Director Bryan Singer has released a statement denying the allegations that he raped a 17-year old boy in 2003. This isn't the first time that allegations of sexual misconduct and minors have shown up in Singer's past and the director has denied all of the past allegations as well. But it seems that those past allegations might have been the tipping point for Singer getting fired from Bohemian Rhapsody, which he also denies. Bryan Singer is a notorious for creating a hostile work environment, so many assumed that was the real reason that he was fired, but Singer has his side of the story.

Bryan Singer's lawyer, Andrew Brettler, released a statement to TMZ, denying that the director had raped a then 17-year old Cesar Sanchez-Guzman in 2003. In the statement, Brettler attacks the alleged victim and basically calls the lawsuit a sham. He had this to say.

"Bryan categorically...

X-Men Director Bryan Singer Accused Of Raping a 17-Year-Old Boy in 2003
A few day after director Bryan Singer was fired from the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, news broke that he is being sued for allegedly raping a 17-year-old boy back in 2003.

When word of his Bohemian Rhapsody got out, a lot of fans speculated that the reasoning behind it would have been something like this, and it looks like that it definitely may have played a part in Fox's decision. They all probably knew that this was coming and they wanted to cut ties with him before the shit hit the fan.

The named of the alleged victim is Cesar Sanchez-Guzman, and he accused the director of "forcing him to perform oral sex. According to the suit, which was filed in state court in Seattle, the director then forcibly performed oral sex on Sanchez-Guzman and then anally penetrated him."

X-Men Director Bryan Singer Sued for Allegedly Raping Teen Boy
Bryan Singer at an event for Walkyrie (2008)
Bryan Singer has been accused of raping a 17-year old boy back in 2003, and is being sued by the now 31-year old man, according to TMZ. The news comes after a rough week where Singer was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody, a biopic about Freddie Mercury and his band Queen, for what he claims was a pressing family matter, but the cast and crew say otherwise. The director is notoriously difficult to work with and it appears that there may have been more going on that not many were privy to. Singer is denying any and all claims against him at this time.

The X-Men director issued a statement in which he strenuously denied all the claims. The lawsuit, filed by Cesar Sanchez-Guzman, alleges that Bryan Singer was at a party, with young gay men, on tech investor Lester Waters' yacht in Seattle in 2003. It claims that Singer offered to...

Bryan Singer Isn’t Ruling Out Working With Kevin Spacey Again: ‘It Depends on the Project’
Kevin Spacey, Stephen Baldwin, Gabriel Byrne, Benicio Del Toro, and Kevin Pollak in Usual Suspects (1995)
Gabriel Byrne made headlines earlier this week when he told The Sunday Times that production on Bryan Singer’s “The Usual Suspects” had to be shut down because of Kevin Spacey’s “sexually inappropriate behavior” on set. However, Singer tells TMZ in a new video interview that Byrne was not telling the truth.

“I don’t know. It baffles me,” Singer said about why Byrne would say production shut down. “I’ll ask him when I see him, and I do run into him quite often.”

According to Singer, “The Usual Suspects” only shot for 35 days, which meant there was no opportunity for the production to be delayed. Singer even shot two scenes in his backyard so that the production could stay on track and not face any time delays.

TMZ also asked Singer...

The Bryan Singer Timeline: a History of Allegations and Defenses, from Troubled Films to Sexual Assault Claims
Bryan Singer at an event for Walkyrie (2008)
Bryan Singer has had a ruinous week. On December 4, 20th Century Fox fired Singer from the Freddie Mercury biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” for abandoning the London set; on December 6, the studio announced Dexter Fletcher as his replacement. In a statement, Singer ascribed his absence on “Bohemian Rhapsody” to caring for an ailing parent, but Fox also declined to renew its long-term deal with Singer’s production company, while his longtime publicist cut ties a few months ago.

And then, on December 7, Singer hit the news cycle again: In a lawsuit filed by attorney Jeff Herman, Cesar Sanchez-Guzman accused Singer of sexually assaulting him in 2003, when Sanchez-Guzman was 17.

All of this represents a tremendous comedown for Singer, a blockbuster director whose films have made over $1 billion in domestic release alone.
