Those who grew up watching Disney Channel likely loved to see the mischief caused by Zack and Cody Martin on the popular show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The twin brothers were played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse, and they tortured Mr. Moseby (Phill Lewis) while somewhat befriending Maddie Fitzpatrick (Ashley Tisdale) and London Tipton (Brenda Song). Years later, the show is long gone, and the cast is all grown up.

"You never win with violence. You only win when you maintain your dignity."
I've got a fantastic trailer for you to watch today for a new film called Green Book that is filled with emotion, power, and a story that is relevant to today's world. The movie stars Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali and it tells the true story of a friendship that "transcended race, class and the 1962 Mason-Dixon line." Here's the synopsis:
When Tony Lip (Mortensen), a bouncer from an Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx, is hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley (Ali), a world-class Black pianist, on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South, they must rely on “The Green Book” to guide them to the few establishments that were then safe for African-Americans. Confronted with racism, danger—as well as unexpected humanity and humor—they are forced to set aside differences to survive and thrive...

"You never win with violence. You only win when you maintain your dignity." Universal has debuted an excellent first trailer for Green Book, an Amblin production directed by Peter Farrelly, making his solo directorial debut (with a drama) after directing numerous hit comedies with his brother Bobby. Green Book is about a bouncer at a New York nightclub who takes on a job as a pianist's chauffeur during a tour in the Deep South in the 1960s. The title is a reference to the "Negro Motorist Green Book", an annual guidebook for African-American roadtrippers, commonly referred to simply as the Green Book. Mahershala Ali stars as Don Shirley, with Viggo Mortensen as Tony Lip, and the cast includes Linda Cardellini, Don Stark, P.J. Byrne, Brian Stepanek, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Iqbal Theba. This looks fantastic, and I'm looking forward to seeing it mostly for Mortensen and Ali's relationship in here. Two of my favorite actors.

It seems Nick is having trouble with Tricky Dicky. Mace Coronel, who has played quadruplet Dicky Harper since the sitcom debuted in 2014, has left the Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn TV show on Nickelodeon. Last month, Coronel announced his departure on Instagram (check it out, below). Now, the show's future is reportedly up in the air. A live-action comedy series, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn features Lizzy Green as Dawn Haley. Dawn’s sibling rivalry with brothers Nicky (Aidan Gallagher), Ricky (Casey Simpson), and Dicky (Coronel) is exacerbated by the fact the they are quadruplets. Brian Stepanek and Allison Munn also star. Back in March of this year, Nickelodeon ordered a 14-episode fourth season. While Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, season four, is yet to premiere, it sounds like Coronel will only appear in part of it. Read More…...

Recently I had the opportunity to visit the Nickelodeon Animation Studio and their new Entertainment Lab in Burbank, CA. I chatted with Chris Young, Senior Vice President for the Entertainment Lab; Chris Savino, creator of The Loud House; and Farnaz Esnaashari-Charmatz, creator of Shimmer and Shine. I played around in their newly developed immersive and interactive Vr experience; sat in on a recording session for Shimmer and Shine; stopped in to say hi to Ciro Nieli, executive producer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and see his cool office; and viewed all kinds of creativity in progress during the studio tour.
And let me tell you: the experience was awesome.

It's time for the 2017 Kids' Choice Awards! John Cena is hosting Nickelodeon's premiere celebration Saturday evening from the University of Southern California's Galen Center, but before he hits the stage and douses the celebrity attendees, presenters and winners with ooey, gooey green slime, we ought to give everyone a chance to hit the orange carpet in style. Representing the music scene is Gwen Stefani and Nickelodeon fans will be glad to see channel favorites like Brian Stepanek, Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo. Other television stars also rocking their finest threads include Dance Mom star Chloe Lukasiak and R&B sister duo Chloe x...

Nickelodeon has renewed the Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn TV series for a third season of 14 episodes. The live-action comedy features Lizzy Green as Dawn Haley. Dawn's sibling rivalry with brothers Nicky (Aidan Gallagher), Ricky (Casey Simpson), and Dicky (Mace Coronel) is exacerbated by the fact the they are quadruplets. Brian Stepanek and Allison Munn also star.
Deadline reports creator, co-showrunner and Ep, Matt Fleckenstein, is stepping down. Executive producer and co-showrunner, Michael Feldman, who developed Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn with Fleckenstein, will remain. Fleckenstein will continue with the series as a consultant.

It’s the eve of Halloween and what better way to celebrate than with an unboxing and review of the 2010 or 2011 (depending on sources) classic Monster Mutt!
Ryan and I came across this hidden gem in a bargain store bin last year and decided to film the unboxing so we could share the excitement with all of you. For whatever reason, the footage was left unused and forgotten…until now. If you’re not familiar with unboxing videos, basically someone films themselves opening an item and talks about it. They might do this with one hand so the camera shakes (see any Paul Greengrass movie) or they do it using what we in the business call a “Dutch tilt”, where the camera angle is deliberately slanted to one side, awesome right? Well, we did all of that.
First the trailer and synopsis for Monster Mutt:

Chicago – What was once an “event” – even the the most medium level animated film was a rare movie occasion – has now become commonplace in the film market. Once that tipping point was reached, suddenly the event became just another weekend, with just another film like “Home.”
Rating: 2.5/5.0
To be fair, “Home” is aimed toward the younger set, who likes bathroom jokes and gags using nacho cheese (in 3D!), but on the adult level, these films have become a bit cynical, more marketing vehicles than notable works. Like last year’s “The Nut Job” and “Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return,” the formula seems to be get some familiar stars to do voice work, create a extreme concept or easy-to-follow story, and market, market, market to the kiddies. Who suffers for these economic model sins? The parents paying the 3D premium – the price level of which is up to a decent...
