Wole Soyinka was born on July 13, 1934 in Abeokuta, Nigeria. He is a writer and director, known for Governor's Plea (2024), Dark Moment and Kongi's Harvest (1970). He has been married to Folake Doherty since 1989. They have three children. He was previously married to Libranrian Oladie Idowu and Barbara Dixon.
Was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1986.
