Ross is a literary manager and producer at The Gotham Group (MAZE RUNNER FRANCHISE, worldwide gross +$1B). He's currently producing the feature comedy ATTACK AT COMIC CON, alongside veteran producer John Davis (PREDATOR franchise, GAME NIGHT) for Universal Pictures, among many other high-level features and series. He also has a five-picture deal with Bazelevs Production to produce Screenlife movies, akin to Bazelevs hit films SEARCHING and UNFRIENDED.
Prior to the Gotham Group, Ross was the VP of Development and Programming Strategy at Maker Studios, and the Head of Features. At Maker, at the time the worldwide leader in short-form video and part of the Walt Disney Company, Ross worked in both short-form video series and television development, as well as feature film development, spearheading Maker's entry into the movie business. There, Ross oversaw the acquisition of Maker's first released feature, SUMMER FOREVER, starring YouTube music star Megan Nicole, and development and production its second, INTERNET FAMOUS, a co-production with Oscar-winning production company, Lakeshore Entertainment (MILLION DOLLAR BABY), which was bought by Netflix. Ross also oversaw series Maker has produced in conjunction with Key & Peele, Freeform, Skybound Entertainment, and CBS Studios & CBS Network, YouTube Red, among others.
Prior to Maker, Ross was named the Director of Creative Affairs at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) in 2007, overseeing the studio's slate of movies in the $3-5M range. Some of the film franchises Ross oversaw included INTO THE BLUE, MR. MOM, STARGATE, LEGALLY BLONDES, THE CUTTING EDGE, among many others.
Ross was Director of Development from 2003 to 2007 at the Paramount-based production/management company Guy Walks into a Bar, which produced the Christmas classic ELF starring Will Ferrell (worldwide gross $224M) and MEET DAVE starring Eddie Murphy during his tenure. He also set up projects at numerous studios and networks during his tenure, including 20th Century Fox Pictures, Paramount Pictures, New Line Entertainment, Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox Television, Touchstone Television, Revolution Studios, and Lakeshore Entertainment, among others.
