Actress Angie Harmon is refusing to move her family to California while she films hit TV show Rizzoli & Isles, even though she is plagued with guilt for living thousands of miles away from her daughters.
The mother-of-three shoots the cop drama in Los Angeles, while her husband Jason Sehorn and their little girls are on the other side of the country in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Harmon admits she is struggling to cope with being apart from her kids, Finley, seven, Avery, six, and two-year-old Emery.
In an emotional interview with Good Housekeeping magazine, she explains, "I'm a mess. I've lost 10 pounds since I got here. This is the hardest time in my life, for sure.
"When I feel like I'm not doing what I am supposed to as a mother, I will torture myself. I don't know how to deal with it. I find some consolation in the fact that all mommies feel it. If there was a way to cure mommy guilt, I would bottle it and be a bazillionaire.
"It breaks my heart that I don't see my daughters every day, don't get to hug them and brush their hair."
But Harmon won't consider relocating her family to California, insisting, "There’s a church on every corner (in North Carolina) as opposed to just a Starbucks. The people are just a little nicer... more real."...

Angie Harmon may often appear to be poised perfection, but let it be known that she's a very cool, very funny, down-to-earth mom of three daughters who shares the same concerns most of us have about parenting. That's why it was so important to her to join forces with Children's Advil to promote "Relieve My Fever," a contest wherein parents and their kids compete to sing a kid-friendly rendition of the classic song "Fever" for a chance to win $15,000.
In a true turn of poignancy, when we spoke, all three of Harmon's girls were under the weather! We had a real fun chat with her about her involvement with Children's Advil, and about many of the joys and challenges we all face as parents.
momlogic: How did you join forces with Children's Advil?

The list is getting shorter!
Devoted Southerner Angie Harmon tells Good Housekeeping that her family of five has set their sights on North Carolina, where in five years they hope to be living “in a big, beautiful house” in a town with “a church on every corner, as opposed to just a Starbucks.”
Her preferences should come as no surprise. “Their middle names aren’t Faith, Grace and Hope because I’m an atheist,” she notes of daughters Finley, 7½, Avery, 5, and Emery, 20 months, respectively.
“I pray every day for my little girls. It’s hard out there for the younger generation.

With her return to the small screen in TNT’s new series Rizzoli & Isles, Angie Harmon has much to celebrate.
The former Law & Order star, 37, says that there’s still at least one reason not to, however, for her commitment to the show means her family will stay in California longer than she would like.

Returning to the small screen with a new TNT show called "Rizzoli & Isles," Angie Harmon recently revealed that she almost quit acting for her family's sake.
The Texas native, who's married to former NFL star Jason Sehorn, tells the Dallas Morning News, "We just had another baby and I've got three little girls now. So my husband and I were going to move out of Los Angeles and go somewhere in the South, where I can raise some strong Southern women with morals, ethics and values."
Getting sucked into working on "Rizzoli & Isles," Miss Harmon tells of changing her mind for the time being, "I can save retirement for another day. But once we finish shooting this first season, sometime in August, we're definitely going to move, for the kids."

Former "Law & Order" star Angie Harmon had secret plans to retire from the small screen earlier this year - until a script for new U.S. cop drama "Rizzoli & Isles" landed on her doorstep. Harmon, who is married and shares three daughters with former American football star Jason Sehorn, admits she wanted to move away from Hollywood to focus on her family life.
But her plans were put on hold when she was offered a role on the TNT network's new crime series, about the only female detective on the homicide squad in Boston, Massachusetts. She tells the New York Daily News, "Right when I'd made my decision to go, this script was literally on my doorstep the next day."
"I've always said if I'm going back to television, it's going to be on cable, because you have so much more creative freedom. You can be scarier, you can be sexier,...

HollywoodNews.com: Back in the series game with her July 12-debuting “Rizzoli & Isles,” Angie Harmon sounds…overwhelmed
“I have more of a family and I have apparently more of a workload than before,” says the former “Law & Order” and “Baywatch” actress between shots of her TNT femme crime fighter show with Sasha Alexander. “It’s a blessing on both sides. That’s good. I’m learning to balance. This past week, we discovered I can’t be in every scene and do 40-some pages of dialogue and have this work.”
As we speak, there are only four more episodes to shoot in the first order of 10 episodes of the series, and Angie’s hopes for the show are high — if she gets her workload under control.

Many picture the moment their loved one gets down on bended knee and vows to love, honor, and cherish them for eternity. For some the event is very traditional; it involves endless rose pedals, chilled champagne and strawberry, and a perfectly crafted speech. For others, it's more non-traditional, but still as meaningful and beautiful, minus all the added hoopla. Hollywood is a tough place to find love, but that doesn't stop the romantics from finding the perfect person and vowing to marry them. Before you can walk down the aisle and say "I do" there is another important event to plan and that is the proposal. Find out how actors like Tom Cruise, Tim McGraw, and David Charvet popped the question. Spring has sprung and love is in the air. Wedding season is upon us which means this past year men and women were very busy planning the perfect proposal...

If there wasn't enough star power for you on the Oscars red carpet or at the Elton John party, you're in luck because there's even more at the Vanity Fair bash! We took a look at the amazing and adorable inside shots from the event, but the lush greenery outside the Sunset Towers makes for some gorgeous arrivals shots. Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin are becoming pros at posing together, while Jennifer Westfeldt made sure to stick by her handsome man Jon Hamm's side. Taylor Lautner was solo for a bit but spent much of his evening with Twilight saga costar Kristen Stewart, who was spotted sneaking out barefoot at the end of her night. Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard are still playing the separate arrivals game, and Natalie Portman didn't bring her rumored ballet-dancing boyfriend. Diane Kruger changed out of her controversial Chanel number and into something beautiful and bright,...

Fame is a hard concept for some adults to grasp, let alone children, but Angie Harmon says that she recently had to explain as much to daughter Finley Faith, whom she describes as “a very, very young six.”
“It was like 4:30 in the morning,” Angie tells Celebrity Baby Blog exclusively. “She was sick as a dog [and] we were down in the theater watching a movie because that’s what we do when she’s sick.”
Suddenly, Finley looked at Angie — whose new television series Rizzoli will debut later this year on TNT — and asked, “Mommy, are you famous?...
