From 1919 to 1922 Seely was under contract to comedy producer
Mack Sennett, starting out in Sennett's "Bathing Beauty" series. Her five films with
Buster Keaton - the defining moments of her career - were all done as loan-outs from Sennett and prevented her from working more extensively with Keaton. At the end of 1922 Seely retired from show business to raise a family.
