The musician took the stage on Friday night, shortly before Eric Church’s headlining slot, for a performance of some of his biggest country hits, even bringing on T-Pain for a duet of Toby Keith’s “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” and Maddie & Tae to sing unreleased song “Liar.”

Not all Miranda Lambert concerts are the same. Especially the concert she held in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, March 22. The megastar county music singer made a shocking announcement. Not just any announcement, a shocking baby announcement.

“We’ve been waiting a long time to reveal the gender at this show, to a song called ‘Drunk’ because that’s on brand for our white trash asses,” Miranda Lambert said. “So at the end of this song, the confetti that comes out of the sky is going to be blue or it’s going to be pink.”

Elle King’s Drunken Behavior Sparks Backlash
Elle King didn’t start the year off on the right foot. To ring in the new year, she co-hosted and performed at the New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. However, her performance garnered attention for the wrong reasons. Fans speculated online that the singer was more than a little tipsy during the celebration.
She never did address those rumors, but the situation only got worse a few weeks later. She was among the country singers who took the stage at the Grand Ole Opry on January 19 to honor icon Dolly Parton on her 78th birthday.

Elle King has issued her first public comment on her controversial performance at a Dolly Parton tribute concert in January. The singer was criticized for appearing inebriated onstage at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, where she bungled lyrics and told the crowd, “Hi, my name is Elle King and I’m fucking hammered.”
On Sunday, King posted a brief video of her running stairs in an arena with the caption, “Oh no was my human showing.” But it’s what she wrote over the video that directly addressed the fallout from her performance.

Dolly Parton is addressing Elle King‘s “hammered” performance.
Last month, Elle, 34, performed at the Grand Ole Opry as part of a tribute to Dolly in honor of her 78th birthday.
While on stage, Elle announced to fans that she was “f-cking hammered,” forgot the words to one of Dolly‘s songs, and was allegedly slurring her speech. The Grand Ole Opry seemingly cut her show short by pulling the curtain on her.
In a new interview, Dolly broke her silence on the incident.
Keep reading to find out more…“Elle is really a great artist. She’s a great girl, and she’s been going through a lot of hard things lately,” Dolly told Extra. “And she just had a little too much to drink.”
“So, let’s just forgive that and forget it and move on, ’cause she felt worse than anybody ever could,” Dolly continued.

Dolly Parton, ever the symbol of grace and tact, thinks everyone should move on from Elle King’s drunken Grand Ole Opry tribute performance last month.
During a tribute concert celebrating Dolly Parton’s 78th birthday, Elle King slurred her way through a performance of “Marry Me,” singing “I don’t know the lyrics to these things in this fucking town/ Don’t tell Dolly ‘cus it’s her birthday” and later telling the audience “I’m not even gonna fucking lie… y’all bought tickets for this shit, you ain’t getting your money back.”

Singer Elle King is facing criticism for her performance at the Grand Ole Opry last week.
The singer was slammed by fans for appearing to take the stage under the influence of alcohol. Several concertgoers captured her slurring her words, using coarse language and telling the audience she was” hammered” and then began to perform Parton’s 2001 song “Marry Me,” during which she appeared to forget the words.
The Grand Ole Opry issued an official apology. “We deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used during last night’s second Opry performance,” the statement read.

The Grand Ole Opry celebrated Dolly Parton’s 78th birthday on Jan. 19 with a night of performances at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Friday. While the country legend herself wasn’t present for the Opry Goes Dolly event, other musicians took the stage to perform her hits in tribute — or at least they were supposed to. Singer-songwriter Elle King derailed the performance by appearing onstage in a seemingly inebriated state: At one point, she admitted to being “hammered” and forgot the words to Parton’s songs during her set.

Elle King spoke out about her battle with depression and her weight loss journey in a candid social media post this week.
The country singer took to Instagram to share a video showing her pre-show prep and workout.
King — who welcomed son Lucky Levi in September 2021 — wrote in the caption: “Almost 2 years postpartum! I am making this post to share my journey from 284 lbs at 5’3 from pregnancy 2021 – now 2023. It doesn’t happen over night. It didn’t even happen in a year for me. In fact, it’s an on going still working towards ever changing goals kinda thing.”
King then said of why she’s sharing her journey, “I fell into a very deep depression during my pregnancy. I also didn’t even realize how intense postpartum depression is and was until I very slowly began to crawl out. I felt trapped in my body. I couldn’t even sing.
