In her first season of That '70s Show (1998) she had her hair done for every episode. After extensive hair damage, she asked producers to let her wear a wig instead. She wore wigs for the rest of the series.
She appeared in the late 1970s on The $10,000 Pyramid (1973) as a
contestant. She lost to her opponent who was paired with celebrity
actor Tony Randall.
A daughter of Margaret A. Williams Rupp (1928-2002) and John E. Rupp Jr. (1924-1990) and sister of Robin Lee Rupp and Rebecca Louise Rupp, Debra Jo Rupp has a niece and a nephew but has never married or had children.
Attended Masconomet Regional High School in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Graduated from the University of Rochester, New York in 1974.
