Exclusive: In Rob Schulbaum’s (Family Guy) directorial debut, The Wrong Todd, the titular Todd (Jesse Rosen) finds out that his girlfriend Lucy (Anna Rizzo) has been offered a promotion on the other side of the country and he has to decide whether or not he will go. Before he can make his decision his evil twin comes to stir things up in his life.
As seen in the exclusive clip below, Todd is in some sort of parallel universe contraption and the Technician (Derek K. Moore) is doing something to help Todd go through interdimensional travel — all while eating a Hot Pocket. The context of the clip is beyond me, but who doesn’t love a movie about an evil twin that is running amok?
If you need more context, the trailer below can unpack the movie for you. The movie finds Todd’s evil twin from a parallel...

Title: The Jazz Funeral Director: Jesse Rosen Starring: Bobby Campo, James Morrison, Maiara Walsh, Dee Wallace, Rene Le Vant A world premiere and Grand Jury honorable mention selection at the recently concluded 17th annual Dances With Films Fest, “The Jazz Funeral” is a relaxed, shrewdly observed portrait of the sort of crucible that a lot of young men must pass through in entering into a functional, adult, peer relationship with their father. Would-be musician Billy (Bobby Campo) is having minor-chord relationship troubles with his live-in girlfriend [ Read More ]

Philadelphia -- The world-renowned Philadelphia Orchestra, long considered one of the best in the nation, will be filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection – an apparent first in recent history for a major U.S. orchestra.
Board chairman Richard Worley said members made a nearly unanimous vote Saturday to file for reorganization in a federal bankruptcy court in Philadelphia after a "long meeting, thoughtful meeting, emotional meeting."
"We're running low on cash, we're running a deficit, and we have to put ourselves in a position to attract investment funds to help us," Worley told reporters.
Allison Vulgamore, president and chief executive officer, also cited a "tremendous decline" in audiences over the past five years.
Officials stressed, however, that concerts would go on as scheduled, including the evening's performance of a Mahler symphony. And they said a revitalization campaign was planned to increase revenues by about two-thirds and bring in new art and audiences.

Despite its promising title, Jesse Rosen’s tiny L.A.-set “The Art of Being Straight” isn’t really about contemporary codes of masculinity or the rattling task of “passing” as heterosexual. Rather it’s a flimsy pseudo-autobiographical character piece from a first-time filmmaker playing an approximation of himself so dewy-eyed cute and effortlessly naive that many audiences will be hard-pressed to find enormous fault. After all, the “likability” factor goes a long way in negligible …...

Jesse Rosen’s directorial debut, “The Art of Being Straight,” follows 23-year old Jon (played by Rosen), who has just moved to Los Angeles from New York, ostensibly “taking a break” from his longtime girlfriend. Jon is hardly comfortable discussing his shifting Kinsien scale placement, and his new job as bottom-rung gofer at a major ad agency is fraught with sexual tension as a studly boss (Johnny Ray Rodriguez) barrages him with …...

Through the testimony of former inhabitants both real and fictional, Jia offers a take on the growing pains of...
