Performance artist and circus performer, founder in the early 1990s of
the Jim Rose Circus. At one of his shows, he met his future wife,
Beatrice Ashard, known as Bebe, whose parents ran a touring circus in
Europe. She helped him to kick his heroin habit in 1988.
Late-20th-century phobias are endless. It's my job to know that
everybody has had superglue stuck between their thumb and index finger
for a fraction of a second and it scared the hell out of 'em. I add
