After launching the podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land in January, Khloe Kardashian has seen the show take off.
Through 12 episodes, the podcast has amassed 121 million video videos and 425 million impressions on X, with the social media platform citing it as the most popular Original amongst Gen Z and Millennial women. Guests so far have included authors Mel Robbins and Jay Shetty, family connections, including Kris Jenner, Scott Disick and the family’s lawyer Laura Wasser, and most recently, Dana White, CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The video podcast is part of the platform’s “Originals on X” initiative, which also includes shows from Tulsi Gabbard, Jim Rome and more, and has been seen as a larger engagement and advertising push on the platform under Elon Musk. Mitchell Smith, head of original content at X, said brands have bought media packages to run targeted pre-roll ads ahead of specific Khloé in Wonderland episodes.

A former radio and television broadcaster associated with the Sacramento Kings basketball team has lost a federal lawsuit against one of his former employers after he was dismissed over a social media post five years ago.
Grant Napear lost his daily radio show on Bonneville International-owned Khtk (1140 Am), days after he resigned from his TV announcing duties for the Kings at NBC Sports California, after posting to Twitter that “All Lives Matter,” a direct response to anti-police brutality protests following the death of unarmed man George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police in 2020.
Napear resigned from NBC Sports California following a massive public outcry over his comments. Khtk, where Napear worked since 1995, initially suspended him from the station and later terminated his employment.
Napear filed an initial lawsuit against Khtk and its owner Bonneville in 2021, initially arguing religious discrimination and retaliation.

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon is suing Elon Musk and his social platform X, alleging a breach of contract and misappropriation of Lemon’s name and likeness, among other claims.
Lemon sued Musk and X in a San Francisco court on Thursday, according to a copy of the complaint.
Lemon, of course, signed a deal with X to host a show on the platform (other hosts announced at the time including Jim Rome and Tulsi Gabbard). The first episode was set to be an interview with Musk, however after the contentious interview, Musk announced that he was canceling the deal.
“This case is straightforward. X executives used Don to prop up their advertising sales pitch, then canceled their partnership and dragged Don’s name through the mud,” said Lemon’s attorney Carney Shegerian. “You don’t have to be a genius to see the fraud, negligence, and reputational damage here.

Looks like there will soon be room for argument on Fox Sports 1’s signature program “Undisputed.”
Skip Bayless, the longtime sports commentator who left a role on ESPN’s hot-talk showcase “First Take” in 2016 to co-anchor a similar concept at Fox Sports, is expected to leave the network sometime after the end of the summer, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Fox Sports declined to make executives available for comment. The New York Post previously reported Bayless’ expected exit.
Bayless’ departure comes a little more than a year after the exit of co-host Shannon Sharpe, who has since landed a role, in all places, at “First Take.”
“Undisputed” has faced headwinds since Sharpe’s exit. It has coalesced into more of a roundtable program, with a less distinct central personality. Bayless hosts with a rotating group of panelists that typically includes Keyshawn Johnson, Michael Irvin, Richard Sherman,...

X is getting into the business with the Kardashians.
The Elon Musk-owned tech company has inked a deal with Khloé Kardashian, who will host a video podcast on the platform beginning this fall.
The 26-episode series is still light on specifics, though it will blend Kardashian’s “boundary-pushing sense of humor with her signature relatability to tackle dilemmas ranging from the everyday to the ever absurd,” per the company.
The Kardashian podcast is also part of the platform’s “Originals on X” initiative, in which creators maintain ownership of their video content, with a 24-hour exclusive window on the platform before they can post it elsewhere.
“When thinking about the bold voices with global reach that X wants to stand behind, Khloé Kardashian is our perfect partner.” said X CEO Linda Yaccarino. “This series demonstrates X’s commitment to empower creators to use video content as a means to...

Elon Musk’s X platform is continuing its video push, launching a dedicated app for smart TV sets.
The X video app launched Tuesday, with the company touting a handful of key features, including a trending video algorithm, artificial intelligence-powered trending topics and cross-device compatibility, so users can start watching on their phone and continue watching on TV.
The X TV app will not have any ads at launch, according to a note sent to the company’s corporate partners Tuesday.
“We’re focusing on launching this new feature for consumers first, but we do plan to monetize it, and will discuss different forms of partnerships — and that may include ads,” the note said.
The company also posted a preview video of the video experience, providing a brief glimpse of the TV app. The videos included in the preview video included Tucker Carlson’s interview with Vladimir Putin and footage...

Days after Don Lemon said that Elon Musk canceled his partnership with X hours after conducting an interview with the tech mogul, the former CNN anchor on Monday dropped the first episode of The Don Lemon Show on YouTube and podcast streaming platforms, featuring a contentious interview with Musk.
Throughout their conversation, Lemon brought up questions related to Musk’s drug use, his affiliations with Donald Trump, advertisers pulling ads off X, hate speech on the app and other topics that the South African businessman appeared to deem troublesome.
Ten minutes into the interview, following a discussion about Musk’s political leanings, Lemon noted that the X owner recently met with Trump in Florida and asked what they spoke about. “I was at a breakfast at a friend’s place and Donald Trump came by—that’s it,” Musk said. Don Lemon, who was fired from CNN last year after 17 years at the network, had been working with Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) to launch a new talk show on the platform.
Now, according to Lemon, Musk has nixed the partnership — coming just a few hours after Lemon interviewed the tech mogul last week.
“Elon Musk has canceled the partnership I had with X, which they announced as part of their public commitment to amplifying more diverse voices on their platform,” Lemon said in a statement posted Wednesday on X. “He informed me of his decision hours after an interview I conducted with him on Friday. That interview will remain the premiere episode of ‘The Don Lemon Show’ on Monday, March 18.”
A rep for Lemon told Variety, “Don has a deal with X and he expects to be paid for it. If we have to go to court, we will.

Don Lemon won’t be bringing a show to Elon Musk’s X platform, after all.
Lemon on Wednesday said that Musk “has canceled the partnership I had with X … he informed me of his decision hours after an interview I conducted with him on Friday.”
The interview with Musk is slated to be the debut episode of The Don Lemon Show, which was supposed to debut on X (formerly known as Twitter) and YouTube. Lemon says the interview will run as planned on YouTube, and that future episodes will be released there.
Lemon said that “there were no restrictions” in the interview, and that “we had a good conversation. Clearly he felt differently.”
Replying to a comment on X, Musk said that they canceled the show because “his approach was basically just ‘CNN, but on social media’, which doesn’t work, as evidenced by the fact that CNN is dying.

X is getting into the ring with the WWE.
The Elon Musk-owned social platform, previously known as Twitter, has signed a two-year deal with the WWE for a new exclusive weekly video series. Called WWE Speed, the concept will feature timed matches meant to be completed in five minutes or less.
The series, which is planned to be live to tape, will debut this spring, and will feature WWE superstars from across its roster. The content will be exclusive (the matches will not be repurposed from other WWE programming), with new episodes debuting 52 weeks per year.
The deal marks a significant push into entertainment for X, which announced a 10-show deal with Range Media Partners last month, as well as new shows from former CNN host Don Lemon, sports talk host Jim Rome, and former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

Depending on whom you ask, Don Lemon is planting his feet firmly in media’s next frontier. Or its last one.
The former CNN star anchor is the latest in a parade of onetime TV-news personnel to dip their toes into the entrepreneurial waters of digital and social media. He announced in early January that he would launch “The Don Lemon Show” on X, part of a bid to build a broader media outlet. “Don is extremely passionate about launching his own media company,” says Oren Rosenbaum, partner and head of audio at UTA, which represented Lemon in his deal with the social-media giant. “His first priority is the show, and as that becomes more and more successful, he will build a business around that and become a platform for other voices.”
Lemon isn’t alone. Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News opinion host, is using X for similar goals.

Last week, Elon Musk urged MrBeast to post his videos on X. MrBeast swiftly declined, saying that the creator payouts X provides just aren’t enough to make posting there worth it.
“My videos cost millions to make and even if they got a billion views on X it wouldn’t fund a fraction of it,” he said.
Now Musk is saying that X will bump up the amount of money creators make in 2024.
He paused between dozens of tweets endorsing conspiracy theories and complaining about the “woke mind virus” to tell a user named DogeDesigner that “[c]reator rewards will increase significantly this year.”
He didn’t give specifics–not that surprising, considering X has never divulged exactly what the revenue split for creators is.
He also didn’t specifically say this change is because MrBeast turned him down, but it’s no secret X is trying to court big creators.

It was just yesterday that we shared the news with you guys that filming has begun on Space Jam 2 starring LeBron James. And today we have word that original Space Jam star Charles Barkley isn't a fan of the idea of the upcoming sequel. The basketball legend spoke his peace at the 2019 NBA Awards on Monday night when he was asked if he was interested in the upcoming live-action/animation sequel, he said this.
"Not at all. Well, listen, I don't care. Space Jam 1 was amazing. We don't need 2."
This quote seems to be keeping with what Charles Barkley said last year at the same event, where he said this.
"Space Jam 1 was a classic. I don't like when people try to imitate something that was already good."
For those who didn't grow up in the '90s, the original Space Jam starred superstar Michael Jordan as himself, who...

At Saturday’s Wbk 22 in China, Barotov attempted to begin his match against Ibragim Khalilov with a customary glove touch. Unfortunately, Khalilov wasn’t having any of the sportsmanship. Instead, he jacked Barotov right in the jaw, knocking the unsuspecting combatant out in a flash. Watch the lightning-quick bout below. After Sunday's Miss Universe fiasco — which, let's face it, was probably the best pageant-related event ever, Miss United States notwithstanding — you'd probably think the organization would be quick to sever its ties as painlessly as possible with its disgraced host Steve Harvey. Alas, not really. According to Miss Universe producer Mark Shapiro, all is forgiven, and he even wants Harvey to reprise his hosting duties again in the future. "I definitely want him back, and I would hate to see him not come back," he said on The Jim Rome Show. "He’s going to want a shot to redeem himself." Harvey, who publicly apologized several times for his "honest mistake," misread the winner of the international beauty pageant as Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, when it should've been Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach. "Look, the world forgives, the world forgets. It could happen to the best of us," Shapiro continued. "He...

Despite making the biggest mistake you can make as an awards show emcee, Steve Harvey has a shot at redemption: The Miss Universe pageant wants him to return to host the show again in 2016.
Harvey, who made headlines the world over thanks to accidentally announcing the incorrect winner of the 2015 Miss Universe title (and letting the second runner-up don the crown and sash before the snafu was corrected), was the target of much mockery for his blunder.
