Susan R. Rodgers began her producing career with the short film "Love for $17.50," based on the story by legendary author Charles Bukowski. She simultaneously produced a documentary on the history of American independent cinema for the Los Angeles Film Festival. In 1999, Susan produced her first feature film, "Grownups", starring John Stamos ("Full House") and Daniel London ("Minority Report").

Susan now has more than a dozen features under her belt, including the critically acclaimed, psychological thriller, "Dahmer", which was nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards, including the John Cassavetes Award. In 2007, Susan's film "Day on Fire" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film starred Academy Award winning actress Olympia Dukakis ("Away from Her") and Martin Donovan ("Saved!" and "Insomnia"). Susan also co-produced the comic book turned live action film, "El Muerto", starring Wilmer Valderrama ("That '70s Show") and Tony Plana ("Ugly Betty"). Susan recently produced "Otis E." starring Kevin Durand ("3:10 to Yuma" and the upcoming "Robin Hood") and Peter Stormare ("Fargo"). Susan most recently produced "Reach For Me," starring Academy Award nominees Seymour Cassel ("The Royal Tenenbaums") and Alfre Woodard ("The Family That Preys"). The film is currently in limited theatrical release.

In addition to her busy film career, Susan has produced numerous live events for the American Film Institute (AFI), the Los Angeles Film Festival, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmys 2008 / Product Sponsor Napoleon Perdis), and the ESPN ESPY Awards. Her television credits include dozens of promos for ESPN and ABC Sports.
