Mary Lou Retton, a former Olympic gymnast, is “fighting for her life” in the intensive care unit with pneumonia, her daughter McKenna Kelley said.

Kelley shared the news on her Instagram Story Tuesday as well as a link to a Spotfund page dedicated to her mom.

In a message on the fundraising page, Retton’s daughters wrote, “My amazing mom, Mary Lou, has a very rare form of pneumonia and is fighting for her life. She is not able to breathe on her own. She’s been in the ICU for over a week now. Out of respect for her and her privacy, I will not disclose all details. However, I will disclose that she not insured.”

The 55-year-old former Olympic gymnast is currently battling a “very rare form of pneumonia” and her daughter McKenna has taken to social media asking for help.

McKenna says that her mom is not insured and she’s seeking assistance with the hospital bills.

Sunisa Lee is joining Dancing With the Stars for season 30, and she already has the support of one of her teammates. During an interview with People, Simone Biles, who previously competed on the show during season 24, shared how excited she was for Lee to join the cast. In fact, Biles thinks Lee has what it takes to win the Mirrorball Trophy. "I think she'll do really well," Biles said. "I think America will fall in love with her because she has such an inspiring story." “Dancing with the Stars” has booked its first two celebrities for Season 30: Olympic champion gymnast Suni Lee and singer/dancer JoJo Siwa, ABC announced Thursday during the Television Critics Association summer press tour.

Lee and Siwa will be on Friday’s “Good Morning America” to discuss their casting and will return to “GMA” on Wednesday, Sept. 8 when the remaining 13 celebrities will be revealed. Celebrity-pro pairings will again be unveiled live on the premiere, which is on Monday, Sept. 20. But in a first, Siwa will have a female partner, executive producer Andrew Llinares revealed during the panel, marking the show’s first same-sex couple.

Farber, who was eliminated in ninth place this season with Mary Lou Retton, has been on six seasons, first appearing as a pro in Season 17. One of the most easygoing pros, he posted his best finish with Tonya Harding in third place on Season 26. His best chance at a win, however, was arguably with Simone Biles in Season 24, but the pair was shockingly axed in the semifinal. His wife, Emma Slater, ended up winning that season with Rashad Jennings, and you know the show would like to have three pro couples who’ve won Mirrorballs.

Sharna Burgess finally won “Dancing with the Stars” with a partner she probably never expected to win with, Bobby Bones, and that means the 12-season veteran and former four-time finalist can at long last shed her bridesmaid status.
