    • Sheila Ramani was born on March 2, 1932 in Sindh, British India. She was an actress, known for Return of Mr. Superman (1960), Sultana Daku (1956) and Arpan (1957). She was married to Zaal Cowasji. She died on July 15, 2015 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

  • She was the star in India's first Sindhi film Abana (1960) and a then unknown teenager Sadhana played her younger sister. When Sadhana asked for her autograph, Sheila said that the day will come when she'd ask for Sadhana's autograph. The prediction came true as Sadhana became one of the great stars of Hindi cinema in the 1960s.
  • Moved to the United States and married there.
  • She was mostly seen as an upper-class mod girl in the roles she portrayed in many movies.
  • She lived her last years in Mhow, a small cantonment town in the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Ramani was crowned Miss Shimla in the early 1950s.
