“Huge tension” is reportedly brewing in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage. The cause is said to be a disagreement about returning to the U.K. to celebrate 10 years of the Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex wants his wife there with him for the milestone. Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex is not eager to go back to the U.K.
Harry won’t take no for an answer from Meghan about the Invictus Games anniversary
Speaking to The Mirror, royal author Tom Quinn claimed the 10th anniversary of the games is the source of friction between Harry and Meghan. He said Harry, 39, is pressuring Meghan to join him at the event. Meanwhile, Meghan’s probably not keen to return to the U.K.
“The Invictus Games — it’s one of the few areas of Harry’s life where he feels on firm ground,” Quinn told the outlet. “There...

Updated: “Super/Man,” a documentary about the life of Christopher Reeve, has finalized a deal to sell to Warner Bros. Discovery following its buzzy Sundance Film Festival premiere. It’s an interesting home for the documentary, because Reeve experienced his greatest commercial success playing the Man of Steel in the first four Superman movies, which Warner Bros. produced. James Gunn, the co-head of Warner-owned DC Studios, is currently reviving the character in the upcoming “Superman: Legacy,” which he wrote and will direct.
Wbd’s DC Studios. Warner Bros. Motion Pictures, HBO, CNN Films and Max will collaborate on the film’s global release across theatrical and home viewing release windows.
“Everyone at Warner Bros. Discovery is incredibly proud to come together as one company to partner with Christopher Reeve’s family and the filmmakers behind ‘Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story’ and bring his personal journey to audiences the world over.

Exclusive: The Steven Soderbergh-directed and David Koepp-scripted ghost story Presence is being acquired at Sundance by Neon.
The deal comes 35 years after Soderbergh’s $1 million Sundance deal for sex, lies, & videotape and subsequent Palme d’Or win at Cannes followed by a box office gross of $25 million, helped galvanize independent film into a viable business. It seems poetic he would return with a film for the 40th edition of Sundance, and make a major deal there.
I haven’t got a deal number to share, but there were about 10 bidders so it’s a healthy sum for a thriller that has gotten uniformly strong reviews at the festival.
In Presence, a family moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they are not alone. A supernatural force has infiltrated the house, and taken a specific interest in the couple’s daughter. The picture is shot entirely in a single location,...

Malia Obama stepped onto a red carpet last week for the first time, with good reason. The former first daughter hit Park City for the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her short film The Heart, an 18-minute directorial debut that snagged a spot in the U.S. short fiction films program of the 2024 edition. The premiere screening happened on the fest’s opening day, Jan. 18, and screened two more times over the weekend. The budding filmmaker, who participated in all post-screening Q&As to discuss her work, also took time out of her busy schedule to screen the film and speak with a group of students at Park City High School about all things creative from writing to directing.
Malia Obama attended The Heart premiere and posed with her actors and short-film collaborators.
It wasn’t all work and no play for the 25-year-old daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama.

Prince William and Kate Middleton don’t need to say a word to know what the other is thinking. When they’re in front of cameras greeting crowds or taking part in royal family traditions, the Prince and Princess of Wales can, per a body language expert, fall back on their “secret method of communicating.” However, it’s not so secret. All William and Kate have to do is look at each other.
William and Kate communicate silently with ‘eye contact’
Having much of their relationship play out in front of cameras, William and Kate “have developed a secret method of communicating with each other whilst attending official engagements when many eyes are upon them,” Darren Stanton, a body language expert, told Mirror, speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino.
“Kate’s confidence has grown dramatically in recent years,” he said. However, she hasn’t always been entirely at ease in the spotlight.

Lovers of 80s movies know the Brat Pack. The group of stars who graced the silver screen in films like Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and St. Elmos Fire were teen sensations and helped a generation grapple with coming-of-age issues in high school. Most have gone on to blossom into illustrious film careers, but they will always be remembered for their run in the 1980s film scene. While most also eventually bowed gracefully out of show business down the line, Andrew McCarthy was one member who had been out of the spotlight since the 90s.
Deadline is reporting that McCarthy will be rejoining his cohorts for the Hulu documentary titled Brats. McCarthy had written a memoir called Brat: An 80s story and has now written and directed the documentary that is currently in post-production. The film description reads, “McCarthy crisscrosses the country to meet up with some...

Andrew McCarthy is getting back together with his fellow Brat Pack alums Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Jon Cryer, Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez and more for the feature documentary Brats, a revealing look at the cultural phenomenon they became in the 1980s and how that has impacted their lives ever since.
Brats, from ABC News Studios, Neon, and Network Entertainment, is set to premiere on Hulu later this year. McCarthy, author of the 2021 memoir Brat: An ‘80s Story, writes and directs the documentary, which is now in post-production. It’s getting to be that time for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The time in their journey as parents to send their oldest child, 4-year-old Prince Archie, to kindergarten. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to be gearing up for Archie to transition from taking preschool classes to kindergarten. According to a royal author, he’ll likely follow in his mom and dad’s footsteps.
Harry and Meghan are expected to enroll Archie in an exclusive kindergarten class
It’s off to kindergarten for Archie. While Harry and Meghan haven’t revealed where their son will attend school, royal author Tom Quinn has an idea.
Quinn, whose most recent book, Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family, examines the lives of royal children, thinks Archie’s set to go to a private school, like his parents before him.
But not just any private school.

Kate Middleton has always done her best to build a near-perfect reputation. But many people like her for a variety of reasons: Her dedication to being a working mother, the fact that she was raised a commoner, and of course, her ability to relate to the British public.
However, one royal insider says that Kate’s work to appear more relatable might not be as natural as we once thought. In fact, it was just revealed that many of Kate’s casual outings — such as when she’s spotted shopping at Zara — are actually staged in order to make her seem more relatable.

Apparently, over Christmas King Charles III will make his “good relationship” with Prince William “very clear.” An author expects the monarch to highlight he “at least has a good relationship with one son,” the 41-year-old Prince of Wales. Meanwhile, things between King Charles and Prince Harry reportedly haven’t changed much. Not since the Duke of Sussex, along with Meghan Markle, called to wish the king a happy birthday in November 2023.
The Wales family is going to be ‘very visible’ at Christmas as King Charles highlights his ‘good’ relationship with William
Christmas for the royal family, like many others, means getting together for a big meal and, of course, presents. However, for them, it also means navigating optics amid years of tension with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The world can expect King Charles to play up his “good relationship” with William come Christmas, per author Tom Quinn.

Long before becoming the Princess of Wales, however, Kate changed her style. According to a new report, the now-41-year-old “significantly changed her appearance” in the lead-up to her and Prince William’s 2010 engagement.
Kate ditched her 2000s style for a ‘more appropriate’ way of dressing before becoming engaged to William
Per The Mirror, Kate “significantly changed her appearance to become more appropriate” before the now-Prince of Wales proposed with Princess Diana’s engagement ring during a trip to Kenya in the fall of 2010.
As in, a lot changed sartorially before Kate found herself standing in front of cameras on Nov. 16, 2010, wearing a blue Issa wrap dress announcing her and William’s engagement.

Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as working royals, the couple welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor (now Prince Archie). Two years later, after the Sussexes moved to California, their daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor (now Princess Lilibet) was born.
One of the most talked about topics when royal watchers mention Harry and Meghan’s children is that they are hardly ever seen in public. Now, a royal author is claiming that the duke and his wife are “storing up a lot of trouble” for the kids, but the reasoning has nothing to do with their rare appearances.

It’s time for Peter Sarsgaard to finally shatter the Oscar glass.
Once upon a time, actor Peter Sarsgaard won the most precursors prizes during the 2003-2004 awards season for his supporting turn in Billy Ray’s “Shattered Glass.” In the film, he plays Charles Lane, a newly promoted editor who suspects one of his revered writers (played by Hayden Christensen) could have fabricated some of his stories. It was a breakout performance in the early days of online Oscar punditry that had everyone buzzing. However, when it came time for the major televised ceremonies, he was only able to muster a Golden Globe nod, then to be followed by shocking snubs from SAG, BAFTA and eventually the Academy Awards.

Neon described the sales process as “competitive” and said it will release the movie across the U.S. later this year. The film is getting a North American premiere in Toronto after Venice and ahead of the theatrical release.
Origin is inspired by the remarkable life and work of Pulitzer Prize winner Isabel Wilkerson — played by Oscar nominee Aunjanue Ellis (King Richard) — as she pens her seminal book, Caste: The Origin of Our Discontents. Neon is planning a theatrical release for later this year. The distributor has also released the first teaser for the film, which you can watch below.
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor stars in “Origin” as Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Isabel Wilkerson, who wrote the seminal non-fiction book “Caste: The Origin of Our Discontents.” The book compares racism in America to the caste systems of both India and Nazi Germany and examines how hierarchy, inclusion, and exclusion have shaped our society’s views on race. Prince William and Kate Middleton were once incredibly close with Prince Harry. Harry referred to Kate as a “sister” at one point, and the three were working royals together from the moment Kate married William back in 2011. However, over the last five years, things have fallen apart between the two. Harry met Meghan Markle and found a new sense of self, which William reportedly wasn’t crazy about. And from there, tensions continued to rise.
Now, one royal expert claims that inside sources say William and Kate are much angrier toward Harry than the public even realizes.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been together longer than many other couples. The two met back in 2001 and reportedly started dating by 2003. Though they went through a couple of breakups, they wound up getting married after close to a decade of dating. And since then, they have become one of the most well-known couples in the world.
Of course, no marriage is perfect, but William and Kate have always seemed to convince people their relationship sees no flaws. Still, one royal insider revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales’ relationship “is not as perfect as it seems.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the difficult decision to leave the royal family back in 2020, taking their son, Prince Archie, who was not yet a year old at the time, with them. Since then, the two have welcomed a daughter, Princess Lilibet, though they’ve never brought her to the United Kingdom, and she has yet to meet any of Prince Harry’s family.
Harry and Meghan have very much disconnected from Harry’s family since moving across the pond, but one author thinks there is a chance that it won’t be helpful for Archie and Lilibet to live so far from their royal roots — and that they could wind up feeling “trapped” and “bullied.”

But royal author Tom Quinn offers a different perspective in his new book, revealing that the royal couple has their share of intense disagreements behind closed doors. He even claims that their arguments sometimes escalate to the point where they “throw things at each other.”

Prince Louis might be a so-called double spare as the youngest of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children; however, an author says he’s at the greatest risk for “struggle.” Not only does his behavior “remarkably” resemble his uncle Prince Harry’s but Louis can’t “escape” royal life.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have spent plenty of time in the spotlight since their relationship went public back in 2016. Since then, the two have seen some major life changes, from welcoming their first and second child to completely removing themselves from the royal family.
While all of these moments have garnered massive attention, some experts think the show has to end at some point; Harry and Meghan have made a ton of money from opening up about the royal family, but on their own, some might argue they haven’t seen the same success. What does the future hold for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex? One royal expert thinks they could wind up leading an eerily similar life to King Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne in order to marry the woman he loved.

Apparently, Prince William and Kate Middleton have a distinct way of getting Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to behave in public. “Signs” a body language saw coronation weekend and how the Prince and Princess of Wales were “models” for their kids.

Coronation weekend marked a big public appearance for George, Charlotte, and Louis after Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and Platinum Jubilee. They were in the spotlight on numerous occasions throughout the days-long festivities.

Prince William and Kate Middleton may look, at times — Ok, most of the time — like they’re a perfect couple. Although a royal author says they do, on occasion, shout at each other. However, the Prince and Princess of Wales supposedly keep arguing “under control” with a royal family mantra.

It’s not easy being a princess — at least, that’s what Princess Lilibet, the younger child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, might say to herself someday. Harry and Meghan, known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are parents to two children: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, who received their royal titles upon Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September 2022.
Despite being royalty, the two kids are being raised far away from the royal family. Harry and Meghan have planted roots in California while the other royals continue their duties over in the United Kingdom.
