- She is considered a pioneer of Czech rhythm and blues and rock and roll.
- She began her career with an audition at the Semafor theater, from which Milos Forman made his directorial debut Konkurs. She was not accepted into the theater with the song Malagena, but the composer Karel Mares (then accompanist) noticed her.

Yvonne sang on London radio. She sang 'When My Baby Cries/Come On Home' for the English company PYE, arranged by the most famous English expert Tony Hatch (author of the song Downtown). She also held two successful concerts in clubs, appeared on television. The most valuable performance was in the popular program of British television, Ready, Steady, Go!, together with the Rolling Stones.
