For the past 25 years composer Michael Richard Plowman has been
composing award winning and internationally recognized music. With

His passion for creativity began in his birthplace of England where he
learned to play the trumpet at the early age of four. He went on to
study at the renowned Rugby school of music. As Michael's love of music
quickly grew so did his aspirations. Teaching himself different
orchestral instruments, and performing in various jazz and rock groups,
Michael landed his first professional scoring gig; a radio commercial
for a racetrack. At 16 Michael signed a recording contract, and
produced his first album: "The Now Sounds of Today". It sold exactly 37
copies.
He continued his musical training studying composition and conducting
at universities in Canada and the United States. He began touring with
orchestras and choirs, moved into theatre, and finally into composing
for film, television & games. Michael has worked with many of the major
players in the industry world wide; including Sony, BBC, Cartoon
Network, WB, 20th Century Fox, New Line Cinema, MTV, Nickelodeon, A&E
and Discovery to name a few.
"Working in film, television and games has given me the opportunity to
explore many musical styles and techniques," says Plowman. "Every
production is unique, and providing an original score is essential."
With over 500 credits to date in live-action, animation, film, concert
works and games: Plowman continues to create musical adventures in his
own style for the absolute entertainment experience. Michael lives in
the South of France with his wife, 2 children and no dogs.
