Hulu has announced that their eight-part psychological drama series Saint X will make its streaming premiere on Wednesday, April 26th! The first three episodes of the show will be available to watch on that date, and the remaining five episodes will be released on a weekly basis. When we first heard about Saint X, Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House) was attached to star – but after Pedretti left the project over “creative differences”, she was replaced by Alycia Debnam-Carey of Fear the Walking Dead.
Written by Leila Gerstein and based on a novel by Alexis Schaitkin, Saint X is told via multiple timelines and perspectives. It’s a show about how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.

"Once Upon A Time" wraps up its first season run on ABC this Sunday and the finale is so colossal, that when the executive producer in Vancouver first read the script, there were tears.
"He cried just because of the enormity of it," Edward Kitsis, co-creator and executive producer, who wrote the finale with his fellow top boss Adam Horowitz, told AccessHollywood.com of Steve Pearlman's reaction. "As we said when we started the show, we really wanted to try and make 'Once...' feel like a big summer movie every week and this is an episode where we feel like ...

That’s right, Once Upon a Time showrunners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis were at the show’s Paleyfest panel on Sunday afternoon and promised a couple of answers by the end of the current season. They even said which questions would be answered! That could be considered spoilery, though, so here’s a buffer paragraph to shield the tender eyes of spoilerphobes.
Besides Kitsis and Horowitz, in attendance for the panel were executive producer Steve Pearlman, and cast members Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin, Lana Parilla, Robert Carlyle and Raphael Sbarge.
Okay, ready for those questions? Per THR, the showrunners have promised that, by the end of Season 1, the current season, the one that we’re watching right now and will end in May, we will know….
1. Exactly why mysterious typewriter-toting stranger August (Eion Bailey) has come to Storybrooke and his motivation; and

Once Upon a Time celebrated the show's phenomenal success with a panel at the Paley Center in Los Angeles yesterday.
Cast members Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle and Raphael Sbarge - along with creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis, Adam Horowitz and Steve Pearlman - took the stage and talked about the show's creation, teased spoilers and proved that curses can be broken.
So how did the top-rated new drama of the season come to be?
"Everyone on this stage was our first choice," said Kitsis of the drama's good fortune in the casting department, adding that the show may be based on fairy tales, yet "it's not about the stories you've seen but about where they could go."
But what's up with this curse? If true love's kiss can break it, why hasn't David and Mary Margaret's smooching changed anything?

"Falling Skies" star Jessy Schram has signed on to appear in an early episode of ABC's upcoming fairy tales-based series "Once Upon a Time" as the character of Cinderella. No word on whether it'll be more than a one-time shot, but with the show set to premiere on Sunday, October 23rd, we should be finding out soon enough.
"Once Upon a Time", from the inventive minds of "Lost" executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, is a bold new imagining of the world, where fairy tales and the modern-day are about to collide.
And they all lived happily ever after – or so everyone was led to believe. Emma Swan knows how to take care of herself. She's a 28-year-old bail bonds collector who's been on her own ever since she was abandoned as a baby. But when the son she gave up years ago finds her, everything starts to change.

We've been on the fence about ABC's fairy tale based "Once Upon a Time", but some recent casting news has us a bit more interested. David Anders, Uncle John from "The Vampire Diaries", and Paula Marshall ("Californication", I Know Who Killed Me) have signed on for roles in the show along with "Breaking Bad"'s Giancarlo Esposito.
According to AOL TV, Marshall will play Malificent, the nemesis of Sleeping Beauty and the rival of Lana Parrilla's evil queen character. Anders will play a doctor.
In addition, as previously reported by TVLine, Esposito will be appearing in two recurring roles. In Fairy Tale Land he will play the vaporous visage trapped within the Evil Queen’s Magic Mirror. Always truthful, Mm tells it like it is — even if it means upsetting the Queen. And in the real world he’s Sidney, the staff reporter at the local newspaper who sucks...

ABC has a slew of new shows coming, many of which need a lot of luck if they're going to last more than a handful of episodes. The schedule has been released, so let's take a lot at what's coming.
Oddly enough, as part of the new announcement, ABC has solidified the return of several more shows, including Happy Endings, despite the fact that two other networks have shows on their slate with cast members from the show. That should be interesting. Of course, it works for me, because I'm a fan.

[1] In the coming years, twisted fairytale reboots aren't just set to take over the big screen, but will also invade the small screen. ABC's Once Upon a Time will air at 8:00pm on Sunday nights starting this Fall. Created and written by Lost/Tron: Legacy writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, Time promises to be "a bold new vision of the world where fairytales and the modern day are about to collide." NBC's Grimm was created by David Greenwalt (Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Jim Kouf (Angel, National Treasure), and promises "a new world of police work where all cases have a storybook connection… but not always happily ever after." Watch both trailers embedded after the jump. Please leave your thoughts in the comments below. Trailer for Grimm Clips from Once Upon a Time Official Info: Grimm Once upon a crime. Earlier we shared ABC's primetime lineup, and now we have some clips from the new drama series for you. Be sure to check out the comedy clips here. The clips include, Pan Am, Charlie's Angels, Once Upon A Time, Revenge, The River, and Scandal. At this time we don't have clips for Missing or Good Christian Belles, but we will post once they are available. I am interested in seeing The River and Once Upon A Time. Watch the clips below and share your thoughts!
Pan Am
Passion, jealousy and espionage... They do it all - and they do it at 30,000 feet. The style of the 1960s, the energy and excitement of the Jet Age and a drama full of sexy entanglements deliciously mesh in this thrilling and highly-original new series. In this modern world, air travel represents the height of luxury and Pan Am is the biggest name in the business.

NBC and Fox have both unleashed their Fall 2011-2012 TV schedule, now ABC has released theirs. I’m excited to see Castle, Modern Family, and The Middle back in the mix. Most of the new shows they have line-up don’t really interest me, but there are a few that have caught my eye. PanAm is another 1960’s based TV show that will go against AMC’s Mad Men and NBC’s The Playboy Club. There’s a show called Revenge that sounds really interesting, but the new series I’m most excited about is is the fantasy series Once Upon A Time, a show where fairy tales collide with the modern day.
Here is ABC’s full schedule along with a description of all of their shows. Go through them below and let us know what TV series you’re most excited about seeing.

Chicago – NBC & Fox released their schedules already this week and there are a few interesting highlights, but ABC has released easily the most aggressive and ambitious new slate of programs, which will feature at least one new program five nights a week. Overall, they’re debuting seven new programs in the Fall alone, clearly trying to cement an exciting schedule before the mid-season instead of holding back programs for 2012.

When 'V' returns from a short break 9Pm Et Tuesday, expect a lot of intrigue between alien leader Anna (Morena Baccarin) and FBI agent Erica (Elizabeth Mitchell) at a swanky party. The two women will finally meet again in Tuesday's episode of the ABC show, and according to executive producer Steve Pearlman and stars Baccarin and Laura Vandervoort, there are many more twists to come before 'V' finishes its second season March 15.
But before we get to the scoop on what's coming in the remainder of the season, one question has to be asked: Is it fair for the sci-fi drama to leave its viewers on a cliffhanger at the end of season 2, given that the show's return is not a sure thing?

One of the producers of the new V thinks there's still a chance that TV show will be renewed for season three. On the show's official Facebook page, Steve Pearlman wrote: "Despite what you read online, the ratings for V have been Ok and the show has a chance of being renewed for a third season." Is that really true?
For season one, V ended up averaging a 2.25 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic and 5.7 million average viewers. It was "on the bubble" but ended up being renewed for season two. ABC has a history of taking a chance on struggling freshman shows and decided to bet on this one over lower-rated FlashForward. Sometimes the network's gambling pays off (Castle) but usually, it doesn't (Samantha Who?, Better Off Ted, October Road, etc.).

The executive producer of V has claimed that a third season of the show is still a possibility. The most recent episode of the sci-fi drama attracted 5.77m viewers, considerably down on the 14.3m that watched the series premiere in late 2009 but only slightly below the 5.83m that watched the first season finale in May. In a message on the show's official Facebook page, Steve Pearlman wrote: "Despite what you read online, the ratings for V have (more)...

Will the Fifth Column open a can of alien whoop-ass? What is the actual name of the Visitors’ alien race? How long does a shuttle take to fly to the mothership? And will Erica ever make time for romance? As ABC’s V (Tuesdays at 9/8c) forges ahead with its sophomore run, TVLine brought these questions and others to executive producer Steve Pearlman.
Plotting The Fifth | Thus far, Erica’s sextet of Fifth Column members have merely chipped away at V defenses and morale. So when will they plan an attack of a larger scope? Pearlman says that one of...

When Jane Badler walks into a room full of TV journalists - including Zap2it - on the Vancouver set of "V," there is no question that the 57-year-old sci-fi legend has still got "it."
Badler is best known for the role of Diana in the original "V" series, but she's been largely out of the American spotlight since she moved to Australia in 1990 to live a more low-key family life with her husband and two sons.
When "V" was revived, Badler immediately felt a pull. "I don't know how the rest of the original cast felt," she says, "but I felt like a lover had re-emerged that I never quite finished with. I just thought 'Oh, my God. I have got to get in touch with these people, and get back on the show.' I mean, it was just weird. I had such a strong reaction."

This series length take on the Twilight Zone episode To Serve Man is pretty fun but it's a also a time waster for anyone who demands the complexity of say, a Battlestar Galactica. In other words lower your dramatic expectations a bit and you'll find yourself smiling a lot. To be fair the show has made some overtures at complexity even if it does tend to focus on being shocking or merely fun. Having the resistance painted as being terrorists is a nice twist and the fact that there are plenty of good and bad guys (at least on the human end) helps to take the show seriously when it asks questions about immigration, xenophobia etc. but ultimately this show has all the earmarks of passing into obscurity til it itself is inevitably remade. You get all season one episodes on 2 discs and a lot of special features including The...

V (2009) The Complete First Season Blu-Ray Warner Bros. Home Entertainment2009-2010/Not Rated/520 minsList Price: $49.99 – Now AvailableV is so 1983, isn't it? I actually have fond memories of Kenneth Johnson's sci-fi miniseries which aired in two installments between '83 and '84. It was almost as if someone had taken the old Twilight Zone episode To Serve Man (based on a short story by Damon Knight) and adapted it into a television epic. For an eight-year-old kid, the series was both scary and hokey at the same time. Scary every time a Visitor's true nature was revealed and hokey after I realized how poor the visual f/x make-up was. Didn't really matter because back in the eighties, there weren't too many exciting shows on TV with such large production values especially in the sci-fi genre. Plus, who could beat the sexiness of Jane Badler as Diana, Commander of the Visitors?...

Kenneth Johnson set out to produce a television miniseries with allegorical elements to the way humanity surrendered to the forceful appeal of the Third Reich – except for an underground resistance that proved to save the world for freedom. His initial V miniseries on NBC was filled with memorable characters, some spooky reveals and was quite effective. The sequel mini wasn’t bad but then Johnson was gone but NBC wanted a weekly series and that was a train wreck. Since then, Johnson and the networks have danced around reviving the story of humanity’s struggle to control its destiny in the face of overwhelming alien forces. When it was clear the creator wasn’t going to see things his way, he turned his premise into a turgid and frankly, not very good novel while Warner Bros. moved ahead without him and that may have been for the best.

Chicago – Why do so many modern TV dramas fail? I suspect that part of the reason lies in the fact that a lot of these shows bend over backwards to be a major television event before they’ve earned that right. They cloak themselves in faux commentary merely so they can become mechanical fodder for water cooler discussion the morning after. That’s why the vast majority of new TV dramas might as well be called, “The Event.”
The most interesting thing about “V” is that it ended up becoming an entirely different event than the one it was intended to be. Based on the 1983 miniseries and subsequent series of the same name, “V” utilizes science fiction tropes to create an overarching metaphor for fascism. The plot centers on alien invaders who promise peace to Earthlings while slowly gaining control over all aspects of society. Though the executive producers clearly...

The ladies of V (Morena Baccarin, Laura Vandervoort and newcomer, V legend Jane Badler) marched their long legs into the IGN Theater at New York Comic Con this weekend to talk shop about the ABC show. With the introduction of Anna's mother Diana and Lisa having joined the Fifth Column, things are about to get ugly. Before the ladies (accompanied by Executive Producer Steve Pearlman) started the panel, fans were treated to about 10 minutes of footage of the upcoming season. What we saw was great and here are the important points: *Anna has been keeping mother Diana in exile for 15 years. Their relationship is far from healthy. Diana knows that Anna has been feeling human emotion and taunts her with this fact *Elizabeth has an intense dream sequence that involves all humans being dead and her son Tyler dying in her arms, infected from some V disease *The Red Sky,...

The cast and creative team from V made their second appearance at Comic-Con on Saturday in San Diego, and spoke with the media at press round-tables after the panel.
The second season of V begins production next month, and this year fans will able to enjoy and absorb the show without interruption. Most of Season 2 has been mapped out in broad strokes, according to executive producer Steve Pearlman. “We start production in the middle of August, so we have scripts and stories for the first three episodes at this point. But we have a map for the first thirteen episodes this season…and we could do as much as twenty episodes this year.”
Executive producer Scott Rosenbaum revealed that, “the Visitors have been here longer than one might have expected. Their goal has been to be able to figure out…when we arrive, and when we get to Earth – to be set up to succeed.

Saturday afternoon at Comic-Con, the panel for V was presented. In attendance were Elizabeth Mitchell, Scott Wolf, Morena Baccarin, Joel Gretsch, Morris Chestnut, Laura Vandervoort, Logan Huffman, Charles Mesure, and producers Steve Pearlman and Scott Rosenbaum. How is Season Two going to top Season One? Rosenbaum says that the second season will reveal the Visitors' true reasons for coming to Earth. Further, the meaning of the Red Sky will be known by the end of the season premiere.
Gretsch is asked if there will be more "Action Jack" next season. Rosenbaum steps in and says that, yes, viewers will see more of a "Soldier Priest" than vice versa. Mitchell is asked about the strong characters she has played before; what makes Erika unique? She laughs, because she usually thinks of what Erika the same as other women. She does say that Erika's humanity is a major focus for her. Baccarin...

The third day of San Diego Comic Con International 2010 will be marked with a Seth McFarlane and Matt Groening fiesta in addition to a number of new series screenings. But beloved series like "Chuck" and "The Vampire Diaries" are also cramped on the usually most-crowded day.
"Chuck" which is known for its dedicated fans will be the first TV panel to occupy the Ballroom 20 that day. Last year, they set the bar high by featuring a performance by the Jeffster. Then starting from 11:00 A.M. Seth McFarland will take over the room to present panels for animations he created like "Family Guy". Matt Groening gets his turn at 12:45 P.M., kicking it off with returning series "Futurama".
New series which would be screened in smaller rooms are "The Event", "No Ordinary Family" and "Nikita". For those craving for some vampires, The CW will hold "The Vampire Diaries" panel at 4:15 P.
