Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist and actor. He was the lead singer "Herman" in the 1960s pop group Herman's Hermits. Noone was born in Davyhulme, Lancashire, England, the second of five children, the son of an accountant, and attended English Martyrs (Urmston), Wellacre Primary School (Flixton), Stretford Grammar School, and St Bede's College, Manchester.
Was the lead singer of Herman's Hermits from 1962-73. He also had a solo hit in the UK with a cover of David Bowie's "Oh! You Pretty Things", which reached #12 in 1971. It was never a hit for Bowie himself.
