Prince George won’t be brown-bagging it to school this year!
The menu at the 4-year-old royal’s new school, Thomas’s Battersea, reads more like a five-star restaurant, with options like lamb ragout with garlic and fresh herbs and freshly prepared salmon fillet with salsa verdi.
“Each term the catering team develop a range of ideas and dishes with an emphasis on healthy cooking, full flavor and presentation,” Mark Newman, the general catering manager at Thomas’s, says on the school’s site.

This is the first trailer for a new film starring Noah Wyle (ER) called Shot. The story is set in Los Angeles and it follows a sound designer, who is struck by a stray bullet. This event will forever affect the lives of three individuals. I like what I'm seeing in this trailer. It looks like an intense film with an interesting story that's worth checking out.
Shot begins as sound mixer Mark Newman (Wyle), is pumping up the volume on a bloody shootout scene in an action film. Hours later, after an argument with his wife Phoebe (Leal), Mark is suddenly felled by a real random bullet, and lies bleeding on the pavement with a chest wound. With Phoebe desperately trying to stop the bleeding, they both agonizingly wait for an ambulance to arrive as Mark fights for his life. Meanwhile, hidden behind a fence across the street, a teenager,...

"I can make those gun shots 'pop!'" Paladin has debuted the official trailer for an indie drama title Shot, set right in Los Angeles in the middle of Hollywood. The film tells the story of a sound designer who is struck by a random stray bullet on the streets of La. "One bullet, three lives changed forever." Noah Wyle stars as the man who gets shot, and Sharon Leal plays his wife who is with him at the time. The full cast includes Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Xander Berkeley, and Elaine Hendrix. Described as a "visceral roller coaster ride unflinchingly exploring the consequences of gun violence in America." I like the intensity and intimacy of this, with the Pov shots following him into the hospital. Might be worth a watch. Check this out below. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Jeremy Kagan's Shot, direct from YouTube: Shot begins...

“A fragment of life from another world, brought to us by Death himself.” An exquisite addition to the Court of the Dead series, Shard: Mortal Trespasser is a new Premium Format figure from Sideshow Collectibles, and they sent one our way to check out. After taking the time to look over and display the new Premium Format figure, fans can rest assured that this depiction of the Underworld’s first mortal is a worthy addition to the high-end Court of the Dead collectibles.
Upon receiving the figure, right away I notice that the box is remarkable, with fine details highlighted in gloss upon a full matte finish. There is a tasteful use of red and gold metallic that adds a premium polish to this premium figure.
Opening the package, I am greeted with a thank you card and a carefully packed and secure piece. Overall, the figure is easy to assemble,...

It's no joke: even the Underworld needs comic relief. Beginning on April 1st (fittingly on April Fool's Day), Sideshow Collectibles will open pre-orders for their Malavestros: Death’s Chronicler-Fool to their Court of the Dead line with a new, magnificently detailed Premium Format Figure.
From Sideshow Collectibles: "Sideshow is proud to introduce the Malavestros: Death’s Chronicler-Fool Premium Format™ Figure from our original Court of the Dead collection.
Nothing is ever what it appears to be in the Underworld, and thus it would be wise not to dismiss Malavestros as comic relief in the Court of the Dead. Despite his grotesquely playful visage and unpredictable antics, Malavestros is an invaluable cache of truth. He may choose to dispense his wisdom wrapped in morbid humor and seasoned with acerbic pranks, but that does not lessen their veracity.

I first gazed upon Sideshow Collectibles' Court of the Dead series in person at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con, and while they’ve released a number of original pieces over the years, this is their first major push in creating an original, dark fantasy world, one filled with unique characters.
Court of the Dead is spearheaded by Tom Gilliland, Sideshow's Creative Director, who gave us a personal tour of their Comic-Con booth last year, as well as an in-depth look at the new line. Seeing all of the Court of the Dead figures together and learning about Sideshow’s creative process was a fascinating experience. That being said, getting the chance to personally unbox, assemble, and photograph the Queen of the Dead Premium Format Figure, courtesy of Sideshow Collectibles, was nothing short of incredible, as she's sure to make a perfect addition to anyone's collection.
For those unfamiliar, Queen of the Dead is named Gethsemoni,...

It’s difficult to outrun Death, but if you’re able to, then you’ll also have to outswim Death’s Siren, Gallevarbe. Gliding through the oceans between Heaven and Hell, Gallevarbe tricks her human prey with illusions before enveloping them in the murky waters below. This assassin of the sea has been unveiled by Sideshow Collectibles as another key character statue in their Court of the Dead line, revealing both the beautiful deception and macabre intention of Death’s Siren.
Standing 24 inches tall and crafted with expressive detail, the Gallevarbe Premium Format Figure weighs 15 pounds and is expected to ship in May 2015. It’s available to pre-order now for $399 at http://www.sideshowtoy.com/.
