She is a member of Directors Lab: North, a directing lab based in Toronto, and has twice served as a panelist at The Austin Film Festival. She is founding co-president of Women In Film and Television-Austin.

She is the producing Artistic Director of The Filigree Theatre, the critically-acclaimed, Austin-based theatre company.

She is also the founder of EVN Productions, an independent production company with the goal of creating innovative projects through championing new voices and emerging talent in film and theatre. The company's creative emphasis lies in stories that embrace strong female characters and/or touch upon the role of women in societies across the world and throughout history, with a focus on characters who stand at a cross-road or on the brink of transition.

As child and young adult, she trained at the Lee Strasberg Institute and HB Studio in New York. She studied Technique and Choreography at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance for 13 years. At Yale, Elizabeth was the President of University Pictures: The Association of Student Filmmakers at Yale (an undergraduate film production company).
