Rhonda’s Kiss, an organization that helps cancer patients in need, announced today that legendary rock band Jane's Addiction will perform at their annual concert event on Friday, Dec. 8 at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

Proceeds from the concert event will benefit the Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute and further the mission of Rhonda’s Kiss, supporting programs to assist cancer patients in need, and helping those who receive a cancer diagnosis make ends meet during treatment. Rhonda’s Kiss is a 501c3. To date, the charity has donated nearly $1 million to hospitals to support cancer programs and patients.

“At Cedars-Sinai, it is our mission to treat the cancer patient as a whole, rather than just the disease,” said Amin Mirhadi, MD, radiation oncologist at the Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. “We are proud to collaborate with the Rhonda’s Kiss foundation to help us achieve that.

Just when you thought the strange feud between Justin Bieber and Marilyn Manson was over, the flames have been fanned by the older Goth rocker.

Scott Weiland, best known as the fronton for the Stone Temple Pilots, was found dead on Thursday night. He was 48. The singer was on tour in Minnesota with his band, the Wildabouts, when he was discovered unresponsive on their tour bus at around 9 p.m., according to multiple media reports. A scheduled show at the Medina Ballroom was then canceled. Weiland’s manager, Tom Vitorino confirmed to TheWrap that the rock star was found dead Thursday but could not give further details.
