The Real World closed out its 29th-season Ex-plosion on April 2, and now it’s time for the reunion special, where cast members update the status of the O.G. roommates and their exes. EW was at the taping, which will be edited down to make up Wednesday night’s hour-long special. With a gang this ornery (and, let’s be honest, drunk), it’s no surprise strong words — and maybe even kung fu kicks — were flying as the gang reconvened months after living together, in a house, and starting to get real.
Below, peruse the soundbites — a mix of on-the-scene...

Things got extremely real on "The Real World: Ex-Plosion" on Wednesday (Feb. 19) night's episode. When Lauren took a pregnancy test and got a positive, things took a hard left turn for her relationship with her ex Cory -- just when they were starting to rekindle their old flame.
Just six days after Lauren moved into the house, and after not seeing Cory for a long time, it was obvious that the baby isn't Cory's. So after talking with her cast members and fighting with Cory, Lauren will pack up her things and leave the house in next week's episode.
Cory had a tough time finding out that not only was Lauren pregnant, but also the baby wasn't his. "It was life-changing, but there was a lot of personal growth. After this episode, I really just grew up a lot," Cory tells Zap2it. "After loving somebody for so long...

Now that the exes have moved into the house on "The Real World: Ex-Plosion," some old flames are about to reignite.
The first couple to pick things up where they left off? Cory and his ex Lauren. The minute she moves in, these two hop in the shower and roll around in the sheets. That was fast, huh? Especially considering the fact that Cory's been hooking up with Jenny the past few weeks.
Zap2it has an exclusive first look clip from Wednesday (Feb. 19) night's all-new episode of Cory and Lauren's steamy hello. But don't expect things to be smooth sailing from here on out for these two. In fact, Cory and Lauren might have the most drama-filled relationship of the season.

You know how a few years ago people started using “literally” as an adverb so much that you just had to start disregarding its actual meaning altogether? And then you started saying it inappropriately yourself because it was so ingrained into your consciousness and you had to forcefully make yourself stop? And now the word has been redefined altogether in the dictionary to mean both its original definition and the opposite of its original definition? As in, now literally, by definition, also means figuratively? That’s where The Real World is in its 29th season. Whereas it was once literally about the real world,...

"The Real World: Ex-Plosion" premiered on Wednesday (Jan. 8) night, and at first, the show felt like any other season of "The Real World." The seven strangers -- four girls and three guys -- met, unpacked, and promptly got drunk, partied way too hard, fought, hooked up, and used the hot tub (in the nude and in bathing suits).
And then there was Ashley, the hardest partier of them all. The San Francisco resident really dug a hole for herself on the first night in the house, getting way too wasted, saying some really offensive things about her socioeconomic status in comparison with others in the house, throwing hot burger oil at Arielle's face, and getting into it with Jamie before storming out in just a little pink bikini. Of course, the next day she sobered up, apologized for her actions, and things seemed like they had worked themselves out. That is,...

Things always get crazy on "The Real World" when you pack a house full of seven beautiful twentysomethings and enough alcohol to supply a party for months. Now imagine what would happen if all those seven cast members were suddenly surprised by their exes moving in to the house halfway through the season. Welcome to "The Real World: Ex-Plosion."
For the first time in 29 seasons, MTV is changing up the format of its iconic reality series, and the result is as crazy (if not more so) than you'd expect. In fact, when the cast was asked to sum the season up, they all gave these words/phrases: broken bed frames, bear suit sex, and a ghost named Fredrick ...

The new season of The Real World premieres January 15 on MTV, but this time a major format change is in store: For the show’s 29th cycle (dubbed The Real World: Ex-Plosion), seven total strangers will live together in San Francisco, and about four weeks into production, those seven will be joined in the house by seven other cast members. The kicker? The follow-up seven are the first group’s ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends.
It’s a juicy and wild new twist for the show, and this means a juicy and wild new gay storyline too. Arielle, an outspoken model and lesbian, will be reunited with her ex-girlfriend Ashley, and their reacquaintance won’t be friendly to start.
To learn more about the show’s strange new frontier, we spoke to Real World co-creator Jonathan Murray about Arielle and Ashley’s relationship, memorable gay cast members of the past few seasons,...

There are people in this world who don't know who Jtt is. Yeah ... let it sink in.17-year-old Kendall Jenner had everyone feeling older than bricks with a simple tweet about Jonathan Taylor Thomas. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was apparently going through old Tiger Beat with a friend and had no clue who the former "Home Improvement" hottie was."Only old ppl know who he is," she tweeted along with a photo of Jtt in all his glory. She has a point ... there's no reason a 17-year-old should know who he is, she was only 4 when "Home Improvement" went off the air in 1999.But it still burns. And we're about to make you feel even worse. We decided to pull together some other facts and photo galleries that will make you feel ancient. The first season of "The Real World" premiered over 20 years ago in 1992 ... and will...

This week, we open on Whitney and Sara, still in bed, still naked, and still going at it. They compare themselves to those other star-cross'd lovers, Romeo and Juliet, although I suspect Sara thinks a Capulet is something you take for a hangover.
Whitney says, "It's like I'm sneaking out on one family to go yon window breaks to the other."
I don't remember Juliet wearing heels and a thong, do you?
After they find the motivation to get vertical and go outside, Whitney and Sara check out that other hotbed of lesbian activity: a dog park. Across an expanse of poop and soggy tennis balls, is Whitney's ex and current houseguest, Rachel, who's also out for her morning constitution. She spies the two of them and puts it together; they've been hooking up. This park suddenly has two bitches, too many.
Rachel leaves without confronting Whitney. Clearly, no one...
