- Birth nameAgneta Anna Karin Mossberg
- Agneta Anna Karin Mossberg was born in a small town called Linkoping, Ostergotland, Sweden. Her father, Eije Mossberg, was an influential businessman and politician.
In the early 1960s, the tall, pretty blonde was discovered by F.C. Gundlach, a German fashion photographer, for whom she did extensive photo shoots in Rome, Paris, London, Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa.
She had a soft spot for Spain, especially Madrid, and relocated there for a while. Barely 18 years old, Karin landed her first small part in a Spanish movie, The Uninhibited (1965), which co-starred Melina Mercouri and James Mason. The year after, she played the female lead in another Spanish production, Rafael Gil's drama La vida nueva de Pedrito de Andía (1965). The movie wasn't a big success, and neither the critics nor the public were too fond of Karin's acting skills.
Shortly after, while living in Mexico City, she was put under contract by Warner Bros. and got immediately cast alongside Lana Turner in the psychedelic thriller The Big Cube (1968) which excessively flopped but gained some sort of cult following over the years.
By 1969, Karin's momentum as a model and actress had already surpassed its high peak and she retired from the limelight. As of 2022, little is known about the whereabouts of this pretty lady.- IMDb Mini Biography By: E. F. 2000
