Off the cusp of his breakup with Rorie Buckley last month, Australian conservationist and TV personality Robert Irwin is once again a single pringle!
But would he ever go on The Bachelor? Irwin recently had an interview with Yahoo! Lifestyle, and the subject of him appearing on the reality television dating competition came up.
Robert Irwin Dances Around The Topic
The 20-year-old Australian personality, alongside Julia Morris, his I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here Australia co-host, danced around the idea of him joining The Bachelor, during their interview.
Irwin initially laughed when the question was asked, but Morris notes that if he was The Bachelor, then she’d go on as a bachelorette contestant, and noted it would be like a “weird old creepy nightmare.” Irwin replied, “Yeah … right”, while laughing, and he added, “That sounds perfect.”
Morris stipulated that the two couldn’t go on a date though,...

What’s your favourite Australian film of the last decade?
That’s one of the questions Aacta is putting to the general public over the coming week as voting opens for its new Audience Choice Awards.
In contention for the film award are: Peter Rabbit, Red Dog, The Sapphires, The Great Gatsby, The Water Diviner, The Dressmaker, Lion, Ride Like A Girl and Mad Max: Fury Road.
While many of those nominated correspond to the Academy’s own ‘Best Film’ winners over the past 10 years, there are some notable exclusions – 2016’s Hacksaw Ridge, 2018’s Sweet Country and 2019’s The Nightingale.
The Favourite TV Drama of The Decade category sees each broadcaster score two nods – bar Sbs, who were snubbed. They include 10’s Offspring and Neighbours, ABC’s Mystery Road and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Foxtel’s Top of the Lake and Wentworth, Seven’s Molly and Home and Away,...

To the Nine upfronts where Julia Morris was hosting, and suitably grateful for the rejuvinating effect of winning Celebrity Apprentice. She asked the audience: “Did any of you honestly think I was coming back into fashion? You go on a diet and the fucking world opens up for you.”
She also pointed to the network’s shift to a breakfast event – or as Morris put it, ” the still or sparkling party”.
But Morris got her biggest laugh revealing the build-up to her onscreen kiss with House Husbands co-star Gary Sweet. You did not have to be near his table at the front to see him squirm. Fortunately, she gave him a (very) good review.

Popular Nine Network drama House Husbands will return for a second season.
The new series, which stars Gary Sweet, Julia Morris, Rhys Muldoon, Gyton Grantley and Firass Dirani, will begin filming next year according to Nine and production house Playmaker Media.
House Husbands is currently Australia.s highest rating drama, attracting an average weekly audience of just over 2 million viewers each week, according to consolidated OzTam figures quoted by Nine.
The success of the drama comes as Nine struggles under an onerous debt burden and after a string of dramas - apart from its Underbelly franchise - which failed to capture a widespread audience such as Tricky Business and Cops L.A.C.
Playmaker Media directors David Taylor and David Maher said in a statement: .We couldn.t be more pleased our House Husbands are back for another series. It is a huge credit to our dedicated team of writers,...

Last night’s finale of Celebrity Apprentice saw a big drop in the ratings on last season’s final episode, possibly due to the winner being published on Nine’s website a day early accidentally.
Time-coded over three episodes, the series’ top episode was the seventh highest rating show for the night.
With just over 1m metro viewers, Celebrity Apprentice – Winner Announced took 1.036m, according to preliminary metro results from OzTam.
The finale was down by nearly 0.6m on last year’s finale when 1.6m viewers tuned in to see comedian Julia Morris win.
News of this year’s winner Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson published briefly on Nine’s website on Tuesday night could be a reason for the drop in ratings.
Ben Watts, head of TV and video at ninemsn said: “A video clip showing the winner of tonight’s Celebrity Apprentice season final was accidentally published on the website late last night.

Encore managing editor Brooke Hemphill attends the inaugural Aacta awards and comes away cringing.
Last night the inaugural Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts awards were held at Sydney’s Opera House as the Australian film and television community gathered to celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months and those who went along for the ride left vaguely amused, with little thanks to the event’s producers.
The show, produced by FremantleMedia, for delayed broadcast on Nine, provided a far different experience for the live audience member than the viewer at home. And Nine would have been grateful for the three-hour buffer from recording to broadcast – they certainly took full advantage of the delay. Entire award announcements were chopped from the show and with them the evening’s most memorable moment, director Stephan Elliott’s speech, delivered prior to his presentation of the best direction in television award, where...

Julia Morris has been announced as the first Celebrity Apprentice in Australia. The comedienne, who won the final challenge to launch an advertising campaign for boss Mark Bouris's financial company Yellow Brick Road with teammate Jason Coleman, cried as she was revealed as the winner of the first series of the reality TV show. As Bouris handed Morris a cheque for $$100,000 (£63,000) to go towards her charity the National Breast Cancer Foundation, she asked him to take it back and split it into two cheques for her charity and Coleman's The Song school arts project. "Any money that goes to this charity makes a huge difference," she said. "I wouldn't have that cheque in my hands if it wasn't for Jason. I would like you to take the cheque back and give us $$50,000 (£31,500) each for our charities. I believe that children (more)...

With the grand finale airing tonight, Nine’s end-of-year ratings push has been led five nights a week by the FremantleMedia-produced Celebrity Apprentice. Georgina Pearson visits the set during the show’s six-week Sydney shoot to find out how the series came together.
Celebrity Apprentice is an interesting concept; one that perhaps, on paper, could be deemed a marketing nightmare. For how can you take B-grade Australian celebs and replicate the hugely successful multi-billion dollar Donald Trump-helmed hit?
The crew shoot a challenge episode
For the unfamiliar, the premise is fairly simple: 12 celebrity contestants, each vying for a final prize of $100,000 for their chosen charity. Entrepreneur and founder of wealth management company Yellow Brick Road, Mark Bouris, presides as the ultimate boss. Guided by Acp Magazines’ Deborah Thomas and Bouris’ long time right-hand man Brad Seymour, Bouris puts the contestants through their paces with a series of team challenges...

A number of previously fired Celebrity Apprentice Australia stars have returned to the show for the final challenge. Didier Cohen and Deni Hines joined Jesinta Campbell and Shane Crawford in Team Unity, while Max Markson and Polly Porter teamed up with finalists Julia Morris and Jason Coleman in a task to create an advertising campaign for boss Mark Bouris's wealth management company Yellow Brick Road. Crawford chose Cohen to join him and Campbell, further igniting rumours of a romance between the modelling duo by referring to Cohen as Campbell's "boyfriend". He later called them "lovebirds" and revealed that Cohen is "starstruck" by the former Miss Universe Australia. Cohen jumped to Campbell's defence when she clashed with Hines during the task, saying: "It's the (more)...

Pauline Hanson has slammed her former Celebrity Apprentice Australia co-stars. The Australian politician, who was fired by the reality TV show's boss Mark Bouris in Tuesday night's episode (November 15), claimed that she experienced a massive "betrayal" from her colleagues and was unfairly dismissed by Bouris. Hanson told The Daily Telegraph that she started to believe that she was being "set up" by team leader Julia Morris during last week's P&O challenge. She said of comedian Morris: "It was those comments behind the scenes, off camera. You don't know what she's saying. She's trying to be funny, but they're not funny, she's really being bitchy. That's how I've taken it and I don't like it. "I like fair play. I've copped it through politics where you think (more)...

Pauline Hanson has been eliminated from Celebrity Apprentice Australia. The politician, who faced boss Mark Bouris in the boardroom alongside teammate Jason Coleman after they lost a school play challenge, said that she felt proud that she had acted with integrity throughout the competition. As the duo entered the room, Coleman admitted that he was "devastated" to be there, but insisted that he and Hanson were the "underdogs" in the challenge because the other team had comedian Julia Morris on their side. Bouris criticised Coleman for not managing to "maintain control" of the children they were performing for. The choreographer admitted that, after being labelled "mean" by the kids, he was "worried" about his "brand" and dwindling popularity as a celebrity. In a bid to avoid 'backstabbing', (more)...

Julia Morris has posted a video on her website parodying Chris Crocker's 'Leave Britney alone' YouTube hit. Crocker became an internet sensation when he videoed himself tearfully defending Britney Spears's much-criticised return to the music scene at the 2007 MTV Music Awards and now comedian Morris has filmed her own take on Crocker's speech, focusing on her Celebrity Apprentice Australia co-star Jason Coleman. Dance choreographer Coleman's popularity on the reality television series has dwindled since he was accused of "setting up" former teammate Lisa Curry, resulting in her being fired from the show last week. Both teams were asked to put together a fashion show for Grazia magazine editor Kellie Hush. The winning team would be given $$20,000 (£13,000) by Hush to donate to their project manager's special charity.
