The Eli Roth-less 'Hostel: Part III' hits DVD and digital download later this month courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Scott Spiegel helms the third movie in the torturous trilogy which moves the action from Eastern Europe all the way slap-bang into Las Vegas. A stackathon of new stills from the threequel have popped over at Dread Central but gore-hounds may be disappointed that none of them are particularly revealing in the 'sickening' department so we guess you'll just have to pick up the DVD at the end of the month. Kip Pardue ('Stag Night'), Thomas Kretschmann ('Transsiberian'), John Hensley, Sarah Habel, Barry Livingston, Kelly Thiebaud (below), Brain Hallisay, Skyler Stone, Danny Jacobs, Chris Coy, Alicia Vela-Bailey and Gordon Michaels all star. Check out just some of the new stills and DVD artwork below. You can head over to the Dread Central link below for the rest!

Hostel 3 Trailer. Scott Spiegel‘s Hostel: Part III (2011) movie trailer, produced by Eli Roth, stars Thomas Kretschmann, Kip Pardue, John Hensley, Sarah Habel, and Barry Livingston. Hostel: Part 3‘s plot synopsis: “High stakes gambling takes on a sinister new meaning in this third chapter of the terrifying Hostel series. While attending a bachelor party in Las Vegas, four friends are enticed by two sexy escorts to join them at a private party way off the Strip. Once there, they are horrified to find themselves the subjects of a perverse game of torture, where members of the Elite Hunting Club are hosting the most sadistic show in town.”
The first Hostel was good but I wish the original, more brutal ending had not been excised from the film. The second and third acts of Hostel: Part II were a disappointment but I liked what Eli Roth tried to do with the film.

Earlier this week we bought you news that Scott Spiegel's 'Hostel: Part III' would be hitting DVD shelves this Christmas and that the action would be moving to Las Vegas. And now in keeping with trailer Friday it's time to take a look at the first new trailer for the third installment that'll likely keep gore-hounds happy over the seasonal period. The trailer features gambling, drinking and topless strippers shaking their stuff, the usual Vegas feel and then of course the inevitable 'lights out' gas and the subsequent torturing ensues. Kip Pardue ('Stag Night'), Thomas Kretschmann ('Transsiberian'), John Hensley, Sarah Habel, Barry Livingston, Kelly Thiebaud (below), Brain Hallisay, Skyler Stone, Danny Jacobs, Chris Coy, Alicia Vela-Bailey and Gordon Michaels all star. Check out the new trailer, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting, and plot details below....

The Scott Spiegel helmed follow-up 'Hostel: Part III' appears that its going to be hitting DVD this December. So obviously no theatrical faith in the movie following director Eli Roth's previous two efforts then. But in spite of the odd release month thats rumoured the movie looks like it's set in Vegas and not in keeping with its Slovakian-based predecessors. We're not really sure just what this follow-up is going to be like but it looks to us like it's using the typical horror switcheroo for the third chapter which usually changes just about everything but still clings on to the main theme which in this case would be torture and gore. Kip Pardue ('Stag Night'), Thomas Kretschmann ('Transsiberian'), John Hensley, Sarah Habel, Barry Livingston, Kelly Thiebaud (below), Brain Hallisay, Skyler Stone, Danny Jacobs, Chris Coy, Alicia Vela-Bailey and Gordon Michaels all star.
