Geraldine Maxwell English comic actress born around the early 1890s.
Began in the music hall. pretty brunette star of comedy films for the
Phoenix Film Company, her first film appearance as Isobel Drummond in
'Stolen Honours' in 1914, she perhaps best remembered in the role as
Mrs Joey in many 'Joey' comedies directed and starring opposite her
husband Joe Evans for the Piccadilly Film Company in 1916, she was last
seen on screen in 'Joey's Pluck' at the end of 1916. she was
occasionally billed as Geraldine Evans.
