Cody Rhodes made an incredible return to WWE after much hustle and bustle. The American Nightmare finally made his worth known as he went on to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship by defeating Roman Reigns. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what the wrestler has in plans for them.

Despite being the new WWE Champion now, Rhodes has not forgotten Aew, the organization that he and others set up as an alternative to other wrestling events. One of the main draws of Aew, the wrestler left it back in 2022. Yet, he has never disrespected his time or his mates there, and in a new interview, Rhodes clapped back at all those who disregard his contribution to Aew.

Sting has emerged victorious in his last match and will now retire as an Aew Tag Team champion. Sting and Darby Allin beat the Young Bucks in the main event of Sunday’s Revolution after the iconic boxer got Matt Jackson to tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock. Sting, real name Steve Borden, is famously known for the monochromatic paint on his face, which many dubbed as the ‘Crow gimmick’. However, Borden shared that he never modeled himself after Brandon Lee’s The Crow.

Cody Rhodes has one of the most intriguing WWE storylines, one that has had fans captivated ever since its debut. However, despite the twists and turns that plague the story, fans have found a very unusual connection between the story that Rhodes is playing out and the storyline of Dinsey’s most popular animated story.
Cody Rhodes
Fans have equated the beats of the storyline that Rhodes has been following with Lion King, the seminal Disney classic that adapted William Shakespeare’s Hamlet for its young audience. The plot beats and the characters have been mapped out by audiences in a fun instance of comparative storytelling, something that has taken X by storm in the wake of this realization.

Controversial wrestling superstar Cm Punk has returned to WWE after almost a decade, making a shocking appearance at the end of Saturday’s (November 25) Survivor Series event. Punk, who left WWE in 2014 after a falling out with the company, surprised fans at the conclusion of Saturday’s show when he walked out at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, just northwest of his home city of Chicago. The 17,000-plus crowd went wild as the Straight Edge Superstar soaked in the atmosphere at the top of the ramp. The return to WWE comes almost three months after Punk was fired from rival wrestling company All Elite Wrestling (Aew) over an alleged backstage altercation with fellow wrestler Jack Perry, son of the late actor Luke Perry. Aew previously suspended Punk in late 2022 after getting into a fight with wrestlers (and EVPs) Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson, and Matt Jackson. “This was one of...

Controversial pro wrestler Cm Punk (real name Phillip Brooks) has been fired by All Elite Wrestling following a backstage altercation last weekend at their biggest show of all time, “All In” at London’s Wembley Stadium. The promotion addressed the decision both in a statement released Saturday afternoon and in the opening of “Aew Collision” on Saturday evening, where Aew promoter Tony Khan gave a more in-depth and personal explanation of the decision.
Khan opened “Collision,” telling viewers, “Today I had to make one of the toughest decisions of my professional career: today I terminated Phil Brooks, Cm Punk, for cause. This stems from a backstage incident at ‘Aew All In’ last Sunday. The incident was regrettable, and it endangered people backstage. That includes the production staff, the people who help put the show on every week, innocent people who had nothing to do with it.”

All Elite Wrestling held their biggest show to date Sunday in London, England at Wembley Stadium, the international pay-per-view “All In.” Announcing a paid crowd of 81,035 fans, the promotion has stated that it believes this sets an all-time paid attendance record for professional wrestling, giving No. 2 wrestling company Aew another entry in the history books.
“Today is the most successful day in the history of Aew. It’s one of the most important days ever in the history of pro wrestling,” Aew owner Tony Khan said as he opened a post-show press conference.
At the same time, according to media reports, there was an apparent backstage altercation between wrestlers C.M. Punk and Jack Perry. Perry is the late actor Luke Perry’s son and until recently wrestled under the name “Jungle Boy.”
“Yes, there was an incident backstage before we went live on tonight’s show,” Khan said at the press conference.

The world is in for a treat when All Elite Wrestling sends the signal from Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Wednesday, March 15.
Aew Dynamite and Aew Rampage will air from Winnipeg on Wednesday and Friday, respectively, marking only the second time that professional wrestling’s newest major player makes the trek north. Jericho is often considered among the greatest professional wrestlers in history and certainly one of the best to ever represent Canada.
In 2018, Jericho left WWE for a dream match against fellow Winnipeg native Kenny Omega. The match was brokered by another Winnipeg professional wrestling personality, Don Callis, and it headlined New Japan Pro Wrestling’s (Njpw) famed Wrestle Kingdom card at the Tokyo Dome. Jericho says it’s fitting for Aew to debut in Winnipeg due to the influence that match had on the eventual formation of Aew.

Cm Punk had a lot to get off his chest in the aftermath of Aew All Out.
Punk recaptured the Aew World Championship at the conclusion of All Elite Wrestling’s quarterly pay-per-view event on Sunday night. During a post-show press conference — one that straddles the line between performative and non-fiction — Punk was heated. After an emotional rant about Aew affairs, Punk was asked about the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dynamite, which was broadcast live from the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia and is a “Dragon” themed show (gotta get that product placement/ad cash!) We’ve Tony Schiavone, Excalibur, Jr and Taz on commentary, so let’s get to the review!
Match #1: 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match – Bryan Danielson def. Daniel Garcia The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
Danielson and Garcia grappled on the ground until Danielson got the mount. Garcia got out but Danielson started the ground and pound. Garcia transitioned to a knee bar and both competitors began to exchange kicks. Danielson got a heel hook to counter the knee bar. Garcia backed Bryan into the corner and then slapped him. Bryan connected with an open palm strike and followed up with a suplex. Garcia used a butterfly suplex on Bryan Danielson and then applied an arm lock.
