Nadja Regin, an actress who starred in two James Bond films opposite Sean Connery, has died. She was 87.
Regin’s death was confirmed on Twitter by the official James Bond Twitter account, though no cause of death was given.
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time,” @007 account wrote.
Regin, who was born Nadezda Poderegin in Serbia, starred in 1963’s “From Russia With Love” and in 1964’s “Goldfinger” as the character “Bonita” in the film’s opening sequence. And before that, she was the mistress to the MI6 station boss in “From Russia With Love.” She got her start acting at home and in Germany before moving to the UK in the mid-1950s.

Some of her other acting credits included “Runaway Killer,” “Downfall,” “Danger Man,” “The Saint” and the 1965 TV adaptation of “The Third Man.

Ron Sweed, a TV personality from Cleveland who found fame as the late-night variety show character “The Ghoul,” has died. He was 70.
Sweed’s ex-wife Barbara J. King posted on Facebook that the comedian died on Monday after suffering a heart attack five months earlier. Sweed underwent triple-bypass surgery on Nov. 7, 2018, according to Cleveland19.
“Many of you told me stories of meeting Ron or how watching his TV show cheered you up; that all meant a lot to me,” King said. “My heart goes out to Mary Therese, his wife, who was steadfastly at his side throughout all of this. I lost my best friend but she has lost her partner in life.”

James Bond star Sir Roger Moore set the digital timer on a golden briefcase - containing the first copy of the Bond 50 Blu-ray collection - which is now travelling the length of Great Britain.
To mark the golden anniversary of James Bond on film, an Aston Martin Dbs featured in 2008's Quantum of Solace is taking the briefcase on a seven-day, 900-mile journey.
Moore said at the launch: "I'm delighted to launch this Aston Martin on its tour of Great Britain with its special golden cased cargo, marking 50 years of 007 movies and the release of all 22 films on Blu-ray"
