While working on the TV series "La Femme Nikita", K. Douglas MacRae pitched the idea of a comic book based on the show to Warner Brothers (parent company of DC Comics). He designed characters and drew several pages of the proposed comic and met with executives in LA. The meeting generated interest but in the end rights to a graphic novel could not be secured.
