Son of screen and stage actress Geraldine Fitzgerald and husband Sir Edward Lindsay-Hogg, 4th Baronet. It has been said that he is the natural son of Orson Welles.
Upon the death of his acknowledged father in 1999, he inherited his title and became Sir Michael Lindsay-Hogg, 5th Baronet.
Was nominated for Broadway's 1979 Tony Award as Best Director (Play)
for "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" His mother, Geraldine Fitzgerald was nominated for
the same award in 1982 for "Mass Appeal."
