- Suzette Lee was born an only child, in Chicago, Illinois, to her Jamaican father and Chinese mother. Her parents met on the white, sandy beaches of Jamaica while her father was vacationing. He had arrived in the states years earlier and had made a very good life for himself after settling in Chicago, Il. Suzette first came into the spotlight when she won a local beauty contest in late 1996 that landed her a 1 year modeling contract in 1997. After participating in the pageant, Suzette became a model. It would eventually lead to some background work which would put her right next to some of today's hottest television and film stars. The following year, she enrolled herself in a theater program on a full-time basis and continued to model to pay the bills. Since then, Suzette has appeared in numerous television commercials and music videos. Lee made her acting debut in the year 2000 in the indie film, "Everything, But the Girl". - Suzette Lee is the only daughter of her Chinese mother and Jamaican father. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Both of her parents nurtured and encouraged her artistic abilities, which started with painting at a very young age, and eventually led to her love of the theater. After attending the Art Institute of Chicago for two years, Suzette had a change of heart and decided to pursue a career in Entertainment. She enrolled herself into the Theater program at the University of Illinois and also studied at The Second City Training Center, working on the same stage that has developed actors such as Shelly Long, Mike Meyers and many more.
Suzette's credits include the independent short, "Letting Go", as the start of her blossoming career. Later this year, Suzette will be seen in the independent film, "A Fight For Glory" and the straight to video feature, "Grad Night".
