Jenny Andree's family moved to France when she was six; she became a
stage and film actress under the stage name of Jenny Leduc, working in
films and in the theaters of Nice and Monte Carlo until she graduated
from Aix-Marseille University in 1951. The following Bastille Day, she
met her future husband, a U.S. Navy lieutenant, and she went to America
with him. After their marriage, she taught French at St. John's College
in Annapolis, Maryland and subsequently worked for the Central
Intelligence Agency as an operations analyst dealing with Soviet
espionage. She retired from the agency in 1989. She was survived by her
two sons, four grandchildren, and a brother.
