- Hannsgeorg Laubenthal was born on June 12, 1911 in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He was an actor, known for Penthesilea (1963), Der Untertan (1951) and Schlußakkord (1960). He died on July 13, 1971 in Steinbach, Hesse, Germany.
- After the war he not only continued his career on stage but also in the film business, first for DEFA in GDR, later also in West Germany.
- The actor Hannsgeorg Laubenthal took acting lessons in Cologne and was able to launch his professional career from 1930, among others at theaters in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Darmstadt and Berlin.
