What happens to the stars of The Bachelor after their time on the franchise ends? How much are they really worth? Let’s dive into the net worth of some of the most famous Bachelor Nation members.
Bachelor Alums With Lowest Net Worths
Not all of the Bachelor leads have been able to turn reality TV fame into money. Season 18 Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis has the lowest net worth of all 28 leads with a reported net worth of $85,000, as reported by Just Jared.
Not surprisingly, Bachelor leads you barely remember, Aaron Buerge Matt Grant and Andrew Baldwin (Season 10) have an average net worth of around $130,000.
Despite starring in his own reality show with his final rose winner, Ben Higgins net worth is reportedly only $100,000. Nick Viall, who recently competed on Special Forces has a reported net worth of $129,000.

It was revealed she would join the cast of season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, following a long line of prior leads in their quest to take home a mirrorball trophy. Could she be the fourth female contestant to win it all?
Charity Lawson will compete as a contestant on season 32 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Former professional dancers and competitors on Dancing With the Stars are honoring the late Len Goodman by sharing their favorite memories of the ballroom dance legend. Goodman died at the age of 78 on April 24. He had been diagnosed with bone cancer. Chris Harrison and fiancée/co-host Lauren Zima gathered DWTS friends Lindsay Arnold, Emma Slater, Chris Soules, and Jake Pavelka to pay tribute to Goodman in an April 26 episode of The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever. “I was on the show quite a bit” to stop by and support the Bachelor and Bachelorette stars competing on the show, Harrison shared, adding that he “spent a lot of time with the judges. I knew Carrie Ann Inaba very well and got to meet Len and spend a lot of time with him. We’d be at ABC events, just always such a kind, good man. Just a gentleman. Always a smile on his face,...

Zach Shallcross received plenty of comments about his height during night one of The Bachelor, but he isn’t the only leading man who is a tall drink of water. The ABC series has had quite a few tall Bachelors over the years. Here’s who tops the charts and how Zach measures up.

Three things in life are certain: death, taxes, and that “Bachelor Nation” will rally behind their faves on “Dancing with the Stars.” But that didn’t pan out for Matt James, who was eliminated in 12th place at the end of “Disney Villains Night.” It was a close call, though. The judges had to choose between him and another reality star, “Real Housewives” alum Kenya Moore. Did you agree with their choice? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
There have been many, many contestants from the “Bachelor” extended universe on “DWTS.” That includes three Mirror Ball champions: “Bachelor” contestant Melissa Rycroft (season 15) and “Bachelorette” stars Hannah Brown (season 28) and Kaitlyn Bristowe (season 29). Men from the show haven’t had nearly as much luck, but they usually stuck around until around the midpoint of their seasons: Jake Pavelka placed seventh (season 10), Sean Lowe placed...

“Dancing With the Stars” is gearing up for its 30th season with a jam-packed mix of reality stars, athletes, musicians, performers and quite a few contestants who will certainly make headlines.
Former lead of “The Bachelor,” Matt James, is among the upcoming cast, which was announced Wednesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Who else is ready to put on their dancing shoes? Influencer Olivia Jade, who is now perhaps best known for her parents’ (“Full House” actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli) involvement in the college cheating scandal. Also, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore, “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum Brian Austin Green, Spice Girls singer Mel C, Olympian Suni Lee, pro wrestler Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, talk show host Amanda Kloots, Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby, “The Office” actress Melora Hardin, basketball star Iman Shumpert, “Cobra Kai” actor Martin Kove, “Bling Empire” star Christine Chiu, country singer...

“Dancing with the Stars” has officially announced two of the celebs competing on the show for its upcoming 30th season: “Dance Moms” alum JoJo Siwa and Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Sunisa Lee. The rest of the cast won’t be announced until September 8 … or at least, won’t be officially announced until September 8. It’s hard to keep secrets about a live, nationally televised show, especially in the age of social media. So the press have been buzzing with rumors about other contestants, and those rumors are often proven true.
Among those is former “Bachelor” star Matt James. He made history as the first Black Bachelor in the show’s history, but he’d be far from the first “Bachelor Nation” alum to compete on “DWTS.” The show’s last two Mirror Ball Trophy winners in a row were “Bachelorette” stars (Hannah Brown in season 28 and Kaitlyn Bristowe in season...

A decade later, Erica Rose has not forgotten this Bachelor Pad challenge—and for good reason. It's been 15 years since the Texas native rose to fame as a contestant vying for Lorenzo Borghese's love on the ninth season of The Bachelor in 2006. After her elimination, Rose headed to the second season of Bachelor in Paradise's predecessor, Bachelor Pad, appearing alongside Bachelor Nation stars like Jake Pavelka, Michelle Money, Vienna Girardi and the late Gia Allemand. During an appearance on the Unpopular with Jacques Peterson podcast, Rose recalled a notable challenge she said was both emotionally traumatic and physically hurtful:...

"Heaven's [rainbow emoji] and Mommy's [red heart]!" she began her caption on Sunday, June 13. "I can't wait to meet you. I have waited my whole life for you!" With a few notable exceptions, Bachelor Nation couples tend to offer fairly staid reasons for why their relationship wilted. As they're busily shipping off that Neil Lane diamond and hashing out who gets custody of Chris Harrison in the breakup, the once madly in love duos craft statements about their mutual decision to separate and the deep admiration they still hold for each other. And for a minute there, it appeared Clare Crawley and Dale Moss would be following that script. Confirming their separation on Instagram Jan. 19, the former NFL athlete shared that it was "the healthiest decision for...

Nearly two decades ago, Trista Sutter was the runner-up on the first season of “The Bachelor,” a new reality show that would go on to become one of the most successful franchises in television history.
Little did Sutter — then, Trista Rehn — know, she would become the very first star of “The Bachelorette,” ABC’s first spinoff of the mega franchise. And little did she know, she would also meet her husband on a reality dating show.
“The Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” ends each season with a proposal and engagement, but more often than not, the TV couples call it quits a few years, or months, later. And yet, the original “Bachelorette” couple is still together. Ryan Sutter was one of Rehn’s 25 contestants who fought to win her heart, and 17 years later, the couple is happily married with two children.

Kaitlyn Bristowe waited five years for her “Dancing with the Stars” dream to come true, a turn of events that she says “feels like a wrong has been made right.”
Chris Harrison shocked the Season 11 “Bachelorette” star on Monday’s “The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons — Ever!” when he told Bristowe that she’d be on “Dancing” Season 29 — three years after she claimed that “Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss blocked her from going on the show in 2015 following her rose-giving stint.

There may be no new season of “The Bachelorette” this summer, but fear not, Bachelor Nation because there will be new “Bachelor” content — sort of.

(Missed opportunity not to use “dramatic” if you ask us.) Hosted by Chris Harrison, each three-hour episode of the greatest hits series will highlight, per the ABC press release, “some of the most devastating rose ceremonies, passionate proposals, unexpected new arrivals, dramatic meltdowns, biggest breakups, and, of course, the most romantic moments.” Harrison will also catch up virtually with alumni.

Every season on “The Bachelor,” without fail, Chris Harrison tells us that this will be the most dramatic finale in “Bachelor” history. It feels like someone from the “Bachelor” franchise is on “Dancing with the Stars” every season, but in reality (no pun intended), there’s only been eight love-seeking folks who’ve hoofed it on the hardwood in 28 seasons. And Hannah Brown is just the second one to actually win the whole thing.

“The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown is riding the middle of the pack in fifth place in our early odds to win “Dancing with the Stars,” but one alum is betting big on her: Grocery Store Joe himself.
Obviously, Joe Amabile will be pulling for his fellow “Bachelor” franchise star, but the Season 27 fan favorite believes Brown has what it takes to win it all. “I’m going to say right now, I think she’s going to win,” Amabile told PeopleTV’s “Reality Check” (watch below). “I really do. Brown would be the second alum from the “Bachelor” franchise to win, following Melissa Rycroft in Season 15, aka the all-stars outing, and the first who was a titular Bachelor/ette. “Dancing with the Stars” and the “Bachelor” franchise both air on ABC, so the network takes every opportunity it can to capitalize on that cross-promotion by adding “Bachelor” alums to its “DWTS” celebrity lineups. But they don’t tend to win. Despite the show’s robust fan base, the only champ to come from that reality juggernaut was Melissa Rycroft, who won the Mirrorball trophy in Season 15 (2012). Can Hannah Brown end that losing streak seven years later when season 28 airs starting Sept. 16? Let’s consider the pros and cons.

“Bachelor” alums come with a built-in fan base that usually manages to keep them alive in the competition even when their dancing isn’t, shall we say, marriage material. Consider Joe Amabile (aka “Grocery Store Joe”) on Season 27 last fall. He was one of the lowest-scoring celebs of the season,...

Bachelor Nation is no stranger to “Dancing with the Stars.” A bunch of its alums have hoofed it, and Hannah Brown will be the latest to do so this fall. But her participation is notable in one way: She’s only the second titular Bachelorette to do “Dancing with the Stars.”
The only other star of “The Bachelorette” to hit the hardwood was the very first one, Trista Sutter, who has the dubious honor of being the very first contestant eliminated on “Dancing” way back in its six-contestant debut season in 2005. It was practically a different show back then. Since then, “Dancing” has only booked one other female Bachelor Nation alum prior to Brown: Melissa Rycroft, who was dumped by Jason Mesnick after he chose her on the Season 13 finale of “The Bachelor.” Rycroft was never the Bachelorette, and she finished third on Season 8 of “Dancing” and then won the...

Forget a husband, Hannah Brown has something else in her sights: Dancing With the Stars' mirrorball trophy. Yep, The Bachelorette star is going Dancing. After a dramatic season that ended with Hannah breaking things off with Jed Wyatt and potentially rekindling things with Tyler Cameron, E! News has learned the 24-year-old Bachelorette star is hitting the dance floor as a contestant in season 28 of the long-running reality dance competition. ABC does not comment on casting rumors. The full cast will be revealed on Wednesday, Aug. 21 on Good Morning America. Dancing With the Stars has a long history of drafting the stars of Bachelor Nation. Over the years, Trista Sutter, Melissa Rycroft, Jake Pavelka, Sean Lowe,...

Bachelor Nation has always had a home in the “Dancing with the Stars” ballroom (raise your hand if you’re still scarred from Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile). Rumors abound that Season 28 will feature some alums, including recent Bachelorette Hannah Brown, her runner-up Tyler Cameron and Bachelor Colton Underwood, but Chris Harrison doesn’t have high hopes for one of them.
“If Hannah’s on, she’d be great. Colton, I don’t think would be great,” Harrison told “Entertainment Tonight” (watch above), adding that he does not know who is on. “Colton’s awesome. Here’s what Colton’s gonna have to do: just take his shirt off from Day 1 and use his unbelievable charm, charisma, personality.”
If you can’t read between the backhanded compliments, yes, the “Bachelor” franchise host definitely does not think the former NFL tight end can hack it on the hardwood. “I love Colton.

Does anyone else get serious Jake Pavelka vibes every time they see Peter Weber on The Bachelorette? He's now the only pilot trying win Hannah Brown's heart, since she already sent the other one home. However, unlike the other pilot, Peter showed up on the first night in his uniform - and Hannah seemed to love the entrance.
Peter is 27 years old and from Westlake Village, CA, about 40 minutes from Los Angeles. But even the sunny West Coast can't keep him in one place for long. You could say that being a pilot is embedded into Peter's DNA. His dad is a pilot and his mom was a flight attendant, and that's the adorable way they met. Peter's younger brother, Jack, is keeping the tradition going as the newest pilot in the family.
"I've always wanted to be a pilot, ever since I was a little kid," Peter said on the first episode.

Each season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, we're introduced to new contestants, new extravagant dates, and a new nail-biting ending. What we can always count on, however, is it taking place at the Bachelor Mansion, and Chris Harrison leading the way. If there's anyone who knows the franchise inside and out, it's him. And there's one question that "is always one of the most asked questions I ever get via Twitter while the first episode airs," he wrote in his Entertainment Weekly blog a few years ago.
No, you're not the only person who has wondered why the Bachelor Mansion's driveway looks so . . . wet. It's located in Agoura Hills, CA, which is just over 40 minutes from Los Angeles, so how much could it possibly rain? And, what are the chances it happens on the first night of filming? Well, sorry to ruin the TV magic, but the driveway is...

When's the last time a date took you on a helicopter ride? Or set up a private fireworks show just for the two of you? Or surprised you with a shopping spree? Yeah, same. Extravagant dates are made for television, especially The Bachelor. Not only does it lead viewers to be wowed, but it heightens emotions and, in a way, forces feelings between daters.
In case you've ever wondered how two strangers could fall in love, just look at how they spend their time together. It's not a typical dating environment. There's no waiting for someone to text you back or wondering if they'll initiate the next date. Everything is planned for them, and the extra romantic dates put couples on the fast track. We know that no one can "make" two people fall in love, but setting the mood certainly helps.

The very first episode of The Bachelor premiered on March 25, 2002. Back then, it seemed crazy that two people could fall in love with each other, much less get engaged, in a matter of weeks. And yet, Bachelor Nation continued coming for more, proving that we just can't get enough of the ABC show. If you feel like taking a trip down memory lane, and seeing Chris Harrison in all his glory, it might be time to binge-watch some old seasons.
From seasons one to 22, there have been a whole lot of memorable moments. Thanks to ABC's tribute video to the host with the most, we know that there have been 6,578 kisses, 2,924 roses, and 37 proposals. Unfortunately, Netflix and Hulu won't help you see every single one of them. Neither streaming service offers old seasons. Even ABC's website only gives you access to episodes from the current season. At this rate, it...

Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile has notched some dubious milestones during his improbable run on “Dancing with the Stars,” but he might hit an ostensibly positive one soon: If he makes it through next week’s semifinal, he’d be the first male star from the “Bachelor” franchise to advance to the final.
There is an asterisk to this potential achievement. If the show cuts just one couple in the six-couple semifinal, then there will be a first-ever final five. The previous four “Bachelor” dudes competed on seasons with a final three or four, and none of them made a semifinal. In terms of actual placements, Jake Pavelka finished seventh in Season 10; Sean Lowe, sixth in Season 16; Chris Soules, fifth in Season 20; and Nick Viall, sixth in Season 24.

Some people might take issue with Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile surviving on “Dancing with the Stars” despite abysmal scores and, uh, rough dance moves, but not Peta Murgatroyd. The two-time champ has been twice paired with “Bachelor” stars, Sean Lowe in Season 16 and Nick Viall in Season 24, so she’s not surprised by the “Bachelorette” alum’s fan support or performance so far.
“He’s getting that popular vote and Bachelor Nation is so strong. I had two Bachelors, so I get it,” Murgatroyd told “Entertainment Tonight.” “My two Bachelors had no dance experience either and I got to [Week] 7 with both of them, or maybe even [Week] 8 with Sean. It’s all about how hard you try, and how hard you can pick yourself back up and keep moving when you make a mistake.”

Grocery Store Joe won’t be an Average Joe when it comes to “Bachelor”-“Dancing with the Stars” contestants. In fact, he’ll be better: 44 percent of our readers believe that Joe Amabile will have the best placement of any male “Bachelor” alum who’s hoofed it on “Dancing.”
Joe certainly has the fan support to carry him far, as everyone saw last week when Bachelor Nation helped him overcome a score of 14 — the lowest of the night — to not even place in the bottom six. Joe, who quickly became a fan favorite “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise,” is the fifth male star from the “Bachelor” franchise to compete on “Dancing,” but he’s the first who has not been the Bachelor. That may help him since he hasn’t had a chance to turn off fans with any questionable decisions cutting women and picking his future bride.

Bachelor Nation came out in full force this week for their boy Grocery Store Joe on “Dancing with the Stars.” Joe (real name: Joe Amabile) had the lowest score, a 14, of Monday’s premiere, but with fan votes added in, he safely cruised into Week 2. And we do mean “safely”: The guy wasn’t even in the bottom six. With such strong support, can he go further than any male “Bachelor” alum has gone before on “Dancing?”
Joe, who was on “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise,” is the fifth male star of the “Bachelor” franchise to compete on “Dancing” and the first who has not been the titular “Bachelor” (yet). None of the first four was an extraordinary dancer; in fact, the common dancing trait between all of them is “stiffness.” Here’s how they finished:

Joe Amabile has been cast in the upcoming 27th season of “Dancing with the Stars.” Affectionately known as “Grocery Store Joe,” Amabile’s claim to fame is “The Bachelorette” and spin-off series “Bachelor in Paradise,” which just concluded on September 11. Because ABC airs both “DWTS” and the “Bachelor” franchise we’ve seen a number of contestants from the dating show cross over to the dancing show, but without much luck so far. Can Amabile break the curse? Let’s consider his pros and cons.

That should help him attract votes from viewers at home, especially since the audiences for “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” might translate well to the fan base for “Dancing with the Stars.”

12. Chris Soules
Our small town farm boy hero Chris Soules didn’t have a very dramatic season, all things considered, but he’s been rocked by scandal after his time on TV. In April 2017, Soules rear-ended a man on a tractor who later died. He was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal car crash, according to the Des Moines Register. The outlet reported in March that Soules was “appealing the Iowa Supreme Court’s recent decision not to consider the merits of the charge against him.”
11. Jesse Palmer
Back in Season 5, the early, early days of the long-standing franchise, Jesse’s season was billed as the “most dramatic ever!” Even though by now much more dramatic events have happened on “The Bachelor,” Jesse did at one point call out the wrong woman’s name at the Rose Ceremony and had his best friend’s wife posing as a contestant.

How in the world did Lincoln Adim's criminal history slip past The Bachelorette producers? That's a tricky question. Lincoln, who caught Becca Kufrin's eye during the second week of filming after he won a wedding-themed challenge, was charged with indecent assault and battery on May 21 in Boston. The charge came from a case in 2016 where a woman reported that Lincoln had groped and grinded on her, despite the fact that she tried to push him off. The Bachelor franchise has consistently claimed that their background checks are incredibly strict, but letting Lincoln on the show seems to contradict that. In hopes to do some damage control, Warner Bros. released this statement: "No one on The Bachelorette production had any knowledge about the incident or charges when Lincoln Aidm was cast. He himself denied ever having engaged in or having been charged with any sexual misconduct." (Photo Credit: Getty Images...

Yikes. Bachelorette front-runner Garrett Yrigoyen is being accused of even more troubling behavior — not just on Instagram. Hours after Becca Kufrin and Garrett's first meeting aired on TV, news spread that Garrett's alleged Instagram account had "liked" a series of offensive posts, including transphobic memes and messages promoting violence against immigrants. But Life & Style has learned that there's other questionable behavior in the medical sales rep's past. His first marriage, to a woman named Kayla Cunningham, ended after just six months. However, a friend of Kayla's revealed that Garrett drastically changed after they tied the knot, and he completely walked out on her. (Photo Credit: Getty Images) Bachelorette host Chris Harrison has described Garrett, 29, as "heartbroken" over his divorce, which was finalized in March 2016. But the friend claimed it was Kayla who wound up devastated. Soon after the wedding, the friend told Life & Style, Garrett started acting cold and...

Jake Pavelka was at the forefront of one of The Bachelor's most notorious breakups - and now, he's revealing behind-the-scenes details from the show.
In case you need a refresher, Jake was the leading man on season 14. His final two women were the not-so-liked Vienna Girardi and America's sweetheart Tenley Molzahn. Ultimately, he proposed to Vienna and the two were in pure engaged bliss. Fast forward to a month in and their relationship started going downhill, and soon enough they were practically enemies. Jake was upset that Vienna ran to the tabloids about their personal relationship, but she just wanted to be heard in what was described as an emotionally abusive relationship.
In late May of this year, Jake appeared on The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast, hosted by Bachelor alumni Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti. It was there that Jake revealed some never-before-heard info.

She finally got hitched! Tenley Molzahn from The Bachelor has wed her longtime boyfriend, Taylor Leopold — dare we say it, handing out her own final rose. The couple — who started dating in 2016 after a friend from Taylor's introduced them — tied the knot in a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony over the weekend and her guests shared photos from the event on Instagram. According to the pics, Tenley's wedding had a laid-back vibe. It looks like the wedding took place in a backyard decorated with a vintage rope swing and twinkle lights. Tenley's bridesmaids were dressed in various shades of pink and the floral girl wore a floral crown on her head while looking up toward the atlar. Tenley and her new hubby looked very much in love, and when they met it was basically love at first sight. Just three weeks after meeting Taylor, the Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise, and Bachelor...

Producers might not print out scripts for the Bachelors, the Bachelorettes, and their contestants to follow, but they're definitely pulling the strings on each season's "love journey." In fact, these behind-the-scenes masterminds even coach contestants on what to say and do. In The Bachelor Season 14, for example, a staffer on the show plied contestant Tenley Molzahn with "conversation starters" to make sure she got Jake Pavelka's attention. "A producer asked me if there was something memorable I wanted to tell him, and because my name is so unique, I opted to play off that," she told the New York Post in 2015. "I did a list of '10 things to know about Tenley,' with the final item being that I was a good kisser. I was encouraged to be the first kiss, and I was the first kiss. I surrendered myself to the producers." Meanwhile, Bachelor Season 16 contestant Jamie Otis...
