(1990) "Baghdad Ka Ghulam" is the Hindi adaptation of the theatre play The Servant of Two Masters. Shah Rukh Khan and Manoj Bajpayee acted in small role's. Raghuvir Yadav was in the lead role.

(1991) Shah Rukh Khan had written a serial which was approved by Doordarshan. It was stalled due to CBI inquiries into the allegations of corruption in the Mandi House. The serial was titled "Ekaanth". It was about 3 boys who come to town to make it big in films and what happens. Shah Rukh wished to act in it if he had the required time. The project was called off.
