Salman Khan seems to have taken a big-time shine to Jacqueline Fernandez. He has gone on record to say she is the new-age Zeenat Aman. And to prove it, he has recently shot two back-to-back songs with the Sri Lankan beauty for Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick. Says a source close to Kick, "The team decided to shoot 'Jumme Ki Raat' with Salman and Jacqueline after the shooting was nearly complete. The idea was to shoot a big song, a la 'Jumma Chumma De De' the Amitabh Bachchan-Kimi Katkar item song from the film Hum with hundreds of chorus dancers cheering the hero's demand for a kiss." Jacqueline is the first heroine that Salman has expressed a desire to kiss. Salman, it has to be noted, has never believed in screen kisses. That his pal Sajid Nadiadwala has convinced him to ask Jacqueline for a kiss is not short of a miracle.

Last Sunday, Emraan Hashmi along with Mahesh Bhatt entertained us with a brilliant talk on the couch of Koffee with Karan Season 4, and this weekend KJo brought old guests Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha back for some more filmy talk. Read on to know what they think about relationships, success and more!
Sonakshi Sinha surely didn’t change her otherwise set image of being the ‘goody two shoes’ and you could really see Karan Johar trying to bring something out of her. She stuck to her ‘I go to the set on time, shoot and then go back home’ words. She found some new respect when she did wonders as Paakhi in Lootera, about which she said,” I am so glad that Vikramaditya gave me Paakhi, a character that was so dear to him. I had to do that!” Sonakshi has always been on the curvy side, to which she...

Ghanchakkar which is already turning out to be quite a crowd puller for its quirky plotline, is now added on some more intriguing elements like the title track of Dil Chahta Hai and also a song from Kimi Katkar starrer Tarzan.
While Utv has bought the rights of these two songs, director Rajkumar Gupta will only be using 10 to 15 seconds of the Dil Chahta Hai track and some portions of the Tarzan number. The director also said that he will be using these songs in an ironical and comical manner.

The Ranbir Kapoor - Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has been making headlines for the past few days. Now yet again, the Dharma Productions film has come into the spotlight as reportedly the super-hit track 'Jumma Chumma De De' from Amitabh Bachchan starrer Hum will be recreated in the film. The original, which was a duet, composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, and sung by Kavita Krishnamurthy and Sudesh Bhosle featured Big B along with Kimi Katkar. The modern day version of this song will feature Ranbir and the actor will also be singing a few lines himself in the song. Apparently, the makers wanted naughty, perky rhythms and lines that would suit Ranbir, and hence settled for the colourful track. Though sources in Dharma refused to comment on the track's inclusion, Adarsh Gupta, Business Head, Saregama, has stated that the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani team has acquired the rights of the chartbuster.

The loving mums, the stable dads, the annoying sisters and the protective brothers; Bollywood films are jam-packed with them. However, in true tradition, these relationships bring with them the trusted grandparents, the aunts, the uncles and the cousins without whom, one has to admit, a big fat Bollywood family would be incomplete. We enjoy the laughs and the shared experiences that these families have to put smiles on our faces and we also feel sadness in our hearts in their pain and disagreements. This week we’ve hand-picked some of the films which make us want to be part of an extended family.
Quite possibly one of the first songs which come to mind when thinking about families is from the film Hum (1991): Ek dusre se karte hai pyar hum. It signifies all that we love about the families of Bollywood. The film’s plot was centred on a man,...

Rumours are a plenty regarding Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan, and the latest on the grapevine is that the choreographer/director is really excited as she has managed to rope Katrina Kaif into doing an item number.
And what an Item number it is! Farah Khan has somehow managed to convince Kaif to do a modern version of the 1991 hit song 'Jumma Chumma De De'. Yes, folks you read that correctly. This is the same 'Jumma Chumma De De' that was originally picturised on Big B and Kimi Katkar in Hum and became a song that was recognized by Hindi film buffs the world over. It is therefore a given that film goers will have high expectations from this performance.

Superhero fan films are one thing, but Bollywood films based on comics... Well, they're usually an entirely different kind of awesome.
Take, for example, 1988's "Dariya Dil." In one sequence posted on YouTube, stars Govinda and Kimi Katkar suit up as Superman and Spider-Woman, respectively, for a song-and-dance number. Along with showing off their slick moves while flying through the air, the pair also take a break to toss some bad guys around — right before they kick off the next dance number, that is.
Now that is the sort of Marvel/DC crossover we probably won't see in the comics any time soon.
Hey, it's a slow day, okay?
